As funny as this is, I greatly sympathize with Goku. I have a severe needle phobia as well, in fact it's gotten so bad that the last time I went in for a physical, I fainted after the nurse finished drawing my blood. My grandfather, may he rest in peace, was also super scared of needles and it was worse for him because he was a diabetic and needed insulin, so he couldn't avoid needles. I thankfully don't have diabetes, but I can't really avoid my phobia because while I don't always get vaccinated when I see the doctor, they always have to draw my blood to run tests, and the whole process scares me. Since my fainting incident, I've done my best to try and distract myself. I try closing my eyes and listening to music, and getting lost in the songs so much that I don't notice the needle being stuck in me, but I still feel the pain so it's not completely gone.
