"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Ikr it was so sweet of her. That shows how grateful and kind she is. Ik that the other members are also grateful but Nia showed it by saying that. And I just realized that Nia was the only team member that stayed longer in the ALDC 😳 follow by Kendall
Notice how the ONE time Nia says who choreographed the dance, she says Giannas name too! She truly is the sweetest

The (KOOL AID) 🙄 reference is about a cult back in 1970s called JONESTOWN and the cult leader was Jim Jones who forced all of his church people to come and drink kool aid with cyanide in it which left 909 people including children, women and men killed. Than he shot himself after. Please watch the documentary about Jonestown and all the things those people had to go through, it was all filmed by a man who was a news reporter and some crew members which some got shot as well. Never forget those people who lost there innocent lives because of this man. May they rest 🕊🕊🕊
@@miam08314 because of how jokingly they joked about the kool aid reference and making it laughable. Which it isn’t. Being forced to drink something isn’t funny. People screaming and a man telling you your gonna be okay children it’s time for you to die while your dying isn’t funny. That’s why I did it. Not many people know about Jonestown and you can obviously see it from this clip.

I didn't get a cult vibe from this choreo at all. It was just a standard contemporary group dance. One of the girls should have played the leader, and then maybe it would have made more sense. Because GOD KNOWS THEY'RE NOT GOING TO UNDERSTAND IT FROM THE MOMS.
@devon li Except this episode aired in 2016, three years before Midsommar was released. It might have been a Wicker Man reference, if anything. They might LOOK like they're in a cult, but you wouldn't really think of that unless you heard the name of the dance.

Basically it is where a group of people following the "teachings" of a leader who has started their own branch of religion and are brainwashed to say and do things in the name of their "religion." To those cult followers, it gives them a sense of love and purpose but to people not in the cult would question what the people are doing because they are not part of the cult. In a lot of cults, they are forced to give money to the cult leader, isolate from anyone who is not a member and in some cases, either kill other people or themselves. I know this was a long essay but that is what a cult is.

One of my favorite group dances. I love it when everyone’s strengths are utilized and multiple dancers are featured. Great concept too. I wish Mackenzie could have done more contemporary solos because she was great in that genre.

I have been watching dance moms clips (all seasons) nonstop for like a month or 2 now. I have never seen a full episode, just clips and I feel like I know so much about dance moms as if I watched all the episodes lol.
this is one of the best dances from them i’ve seen simply because their timing is on point for the most part

I felt like it was a bit messy at yhe beginning but then it became so organized and beautiful and the timing its so beautiful and it gives me the chills because they were like confident and i live it
