Congratulations Jeremy! You’ve come a long ways, your channel has too, since I first started following you a few years ago. Everything you post has been a big help to my own BBQ. I’m really proud of you and how far you’ve come. 😊
Man really appreciate you designing a affordable smoker and since it's coming from you I know the performance will be top notch. Definitely will be picking one up this year!
My friend. The best bbq I ever had in my life was bristket you made. And then you also gave me a beef rib that thaut me that I didn't know what good food was. I have to give you a ton of credit not just because of the food you make. But also because you are an incredible man. I'm so happy about this. Bravo my friend.
Had the pleasure of cooking on one a couple weekends ago. Definitely one of the easiest running backyard pits I’ve had the pleasure of cooking on. Food turned out great! Great design Jeremy!
I've been following you since the early days and keep rooting for you. My next pit will be an offset and you've been moved to the top of the list. I appreciate that you've spent so much time evaluating so many different cookers and designed one based around your findings, and made it affordable. Keep up the good work!
Only been following for about 2 months, and I have consumed hours of your video content. Feels weird to say I'm happy for you, but I am lol. Congrats! I would love to see a new beginning-to-end brisket cook (trimming, seasoning, cooking, wrapping, rest). I only say this because you've accumulated much knowledge over the years. I'd love to see how things have changed. Again, congrats!
it was so nice meeting you at the meat fest and the burnt ends you gave us a tasty test of where great and my daughter and son in-law are requiring I try and duplicate for them now :-) you have helped me make some really good BBQ over the last 5 years of watching your channel smoke on brother and you and your family the best ....
Look Great! I have a Workhorse 1975 here in Norway. didn't like the baffle ( made a big hotspot in the middle of the pit), so I cut it out. Your scoop is something I have been thinking of for a while as I saw it on Tuffys Pit. See if I can have a fabricator make one for me. best of luck with the sales!

I thank you for all you have taught me. I would love to see another cook use your smoker (which I love the looks of) vs. another smoker in the same price range. (or above your smoker's price range.) I have been set on the Old Country Brazos for a few months now. (I know it's a lot cheaper, but I'm willing to spend the cash on your smoker because I want to support you.) I have had my Kingsford offset for 11 years; it's still good, just a lot to deal with. I just want to know if I'm getting something that will do me good without as much of a headache for the next 10+ years. I love your channel!
Congrats on your success. Selfishly I don't like when channels I like watching blow up and lose their relatable quality. Hopefully you can keep the regular guy feel to the channel.
My second smoker was a cheap offset. Loved it but was just really cheap and didn't produce very good results, although i loved cooking on it. Have been smoking on a WSM 22" for a while. If i ever go back to offset, which i hope to someday, this pit looks legit! Perfect size for backyard too.
I have been talking this up so much since you released it on Patreon! I only wish I had a place to put it in my own backyard right now. I know for a fact that the day I get my new house this will be the smoker I order! The biscuit test, the way this functions, and the design overall, really blows me away. More importantly your price point! This is going to be the smoker to compare against. I do believe thatwhole heartedly. I really hope this takes off beyond your wildest imagination! It truly has peaked my interest and again I have been recommending people keep an eye out for this smoker when it releases.
Smoking my first real brisket this weekend. Pretty much going to just go with your how to video and see how it goes lol. Looking forward to the content this summer!
Got my text in. Hopefully you ship. If not I might just have to make plans for a BBQ pilgrimage back to California. I was considering the Goldee's backyard pit, but this looks more like what would suit what I'm doing on weekends and holidays. If I'm lucky they're not already sold out or backed up for a year. Missed my opportunity with the Chud Smoker.
What an honor to get the first run of one of these!!! Love your videos Jeremy, thank you for being a stand up guy and providing an awesome product for very respectable price! Smoke on!
Awesome new offset Jeremy, the brisket looks great. I love smoking in my back yard on an offset , but at the moment being in a budget I can't afford your new offset. Whish I could! I love it
Nice pit. I would have loved to see more on temps across all the briskets through out the cook. Like did you have to move them around and keep them away from the fire box and so on
I don’t even know what kind of wood to cook with. In the Midwest we don’t have a lot of oak trees. It’s ash tree, green/red maple trees, cottonwood, some of that wood really stinks when it’s burned. A lot of the gas stations and grocery stores sell wood bundles. I should see what they are. I know we have apple trees and pear trees, but those are a few and far in between.
When will we see more demonstration videos on this? I'm very interested to see fire management and cooking of pork butt, ribs, brisket, whole chickens, and wings. Iv watched the 2 free videos but want to see more demonstrations before I make a decision on if to get it or not
Although i love my Char-Griller Grand Chmp XD 8250, had i known JY would have his own signature offset, and built in America, i would have most definitely waited for his!
looks good, What temp did the warmer run at? I think next you should do a ribs, chicken, pork butt, Bacon burnt ends demo video, A features and walk around video, and a comparison video between the heatmax and the Vevor hot box/warmers.
Ugh I wish I would have known about this earlier. I just bought an old country Brazos delivered to me by academy sports and that delivery was a disaster but the smoker is pretty good
Great video, really like the pit! Quick question though, I live in Louisville and was trying to figure out where you got the briskets you used in the video? They looked like nice Briskets.
I would love to see you finish the brisket on this pit untill the end of the cook without the need of the wrapping and see what is the perfect style of this pit. And one more thing what time you should add wood to maintain the temp
I’m curious why you didn’t taste more than one brisket to make sure they were the same across the board. I’m also surprised you mentioned that you were nervous about the outcome. They did look good though. Can’t wait for more videos about this smoker vs others.
Having been a devoted Traeger+ user for years, I was hesitant to switch to any other brand. However, after using Asmoke, my grilling experience completely transformed. The precision temperature control is a game changer, and the ability to monitor food temperature remotely is a feature I never knew I needed till I had it. The variety of wood pellet flavors is amazing and has significantly enhanced the taste of my smoked brisket. Also, the portability and the battery-powered feature of Asmoke is a major upgrade, making it perfect for outings. It's lightweight yet doesn't compromise on the cooking capacity. The fact that it's environmentally friendly and reduces waste is just the cherry on top. Can't wait for my next cookout with Asmoke. #Asmoke
Lol if you'd released this two years earlier, I probably would have gotten this instead of my Franklin. It was your review that sold me on the Franklin to begin with lol.
Ok Jeremy im just curious, im thinking about possibly upgrading from my green mountain grill to either your offset smoker or a old country bbq gravity fed smoker. We have challenges in our state most other states that dont have other than a few others around us. My question is i live in wyoming, we live with high winds and very cold temps, reaching below zero a couple of times a year. The main concerns which smoker would you recommend for a place with high winds a considerable amount of time.

But I learned a lot from you and a couple others and feel good in throwing meat o the grill and expect a good outcome.keep up the good work.

I don't think I would ever do 4 briskets (I get why you are doing it for this video).
