    They need volume for to survive. I get the fact that tech savy Chinese clients ordered the max equipped version. But eventually the base model may overleap the high spec version. And you're totally a class act person. Well presented reviews.

    I have been driving my xpeng G6 for almost a year now. It has the XNGP updated one. I have never used it for a single time, even though I have driven 300+ km trips multiple times with my family. I don't know about other people's preferences, but I still don't feel conformable letting a car drive itself. I will skip the autonomous driving system when I purchase my next car.

    What matters most to me is efficiency, passive safety and price/running costs. Especially if it drives well and looks nice too. If they can soundly beat the competition there they certainly have a product that appeals to me. I'm not really into self-driving capabilities. In fact I'm really annoyed that I'm unable to use cruise control in my Model 3 Highland without some degree of unnecessary auto braking and various warnings. I find it super frustrating to drive a car that doesn't let me drive the car on my own.

    None of these self driving systems are anywhere near really usable except for on the highway and even then if there is heavy traffic its not great. I went to look at the moaner a few days ago and it looks pretty nice in person, way better than in photos and videos, the backseat space is very cramped though, they've chosen boot space (its massive) over backseat space which I don't think was a good choice. The interior is ok but you can clearly tell the difference between more expensive options on the quality of materials used. From what I have seen of the Onvo L60 you would have to be mad to choose the moaner over that.

    • @networm78
      @networm78 4 месяца назад

      The Onvo L60 is priced significantly higher than the Mona. The Mona starts below 140K, while the Onvo non-BaaS starts at 210K (not official).

    If self drive isnt a 'deal breaker' for you. but price is...
    now, this chap talks about 'other cars in this price range' which is news to me. I just saw some sensationalised videos aimed at western audiences emphasising 'model 3 like car at half the price'. whether we actually see that price when it comes over to Australia (we usually dont), but even if some of that price drop makes it through, this is a killer.
    price is a main blocker of EV take up in western countries, and if you can drive it down, its real beans. but now you are telling me there are 'other cars in this price range'?! heaven above...
    otherwise its the choice. do you want a 'no frill, gets you from A to B at AUD 24K' or do you want a 'smarter than most humans AI car (assuming you can get the tech legally approved in your country) for AUD 33K', you have the _choice_
    Now considering the cheapest car you can get in Oz right now is a rather lackluster GWM Ora for AUD 36K... vs cheap decent ICE cars around 20K...yeah... I can see the Mona M03 if it can come in at 25K blow everything wide open

    Dans les commentaires on constate 2 catégories de personnes si je comprends bien
    Celles qui comme vous, considèrent que les dernières IA et conduites autonome sont devenus la norme et qu’une voiture moderne n’est pas complète sans ces aides , et ceux qui considèrent qu’une voiture efficiente sécuritaire et agréable a déjà l’essentiel
    Enfin on ne peut pas avoir le beurre , l’argent du beurre et la crémière 😉😊 …. si on veut des tarifs bas, on doit accepter de ne pas avoir le luxe des options des véhicules chers… et on ne doit pas oublier que beaucoup n’ont pas les moyens financiers de véhicules haut de gamme . Je trouve très correct de XPeng d.avoir pensé à ces personnes avec une très jolie voitures déjà bien équipée et probablement confortable qui restera accessible à des personnes un peu moins riches ou qui ne tiennent pas aux aides pour la conduite autonome … Il en faut pour tous les goûts et pour tous les budgets … ou presque … car ces voitures restent au dessus des budgets de la majorité

    All the reviews just prove this is what I said it would be when I first saw it. The Chinese cheaper ev version of the toyoduh corolla. 👍🏻😀
    Imo it won't sell very well in China and exporting it won't go well either.
    As they'll simply Jack the price up like they do with all other exported Chinese brands to 50-100% above the China only price.
    I'll be curious to see if tesla drops the new cloth seat version simpler $4,000 cheaper m3 highland in China. That would make a center console equipped, wireless phone charging, fast charging, glass roof equipped, heat pump inc base m3 $28,000 or LESS. 😎
