Same! This is a great looking car with heaps of space at a friendly price. Not having total self driving at this price doesn’t diminish the purpose of it.

This is how the impartial tester/reviewer should be. You are in a class of your own. I never misses any update from you or @madevv or china driven. You 3 are by far the best of all.
Many thanks from Japan. Truly wish we had journalists like you who are bold enough to mercilessly rant on crappy ICE cars here. China is winning not only in auto but in journalism (politics aside). BTW, I'm betting on Xpeng-VW alliance to bring massive rewards to their investors.
I agree,I was hyped about the features ever since u first mentioned it,but when I saw what the entry car was offering....well u know how that feels, awesome video as always
They need volume for to survive. I get the fact that tech savy Chinese clients ordered the max equipped version. But eventually the base model may overleap the high spec version. And you're totally a class act person. Well presented reviews.
I have been driving my xpeng G6 for almost a year now. It has the XNGP updated one. I have never used it for a single time, even though I have driven 300+ km trips multiple times with my family. I don't know about other people's preferences, but I still don't feel conformable letting a car drive itself. I will skip the autonomous driving system when I purchase my next car.
Could you male a video about the price differance between China vs EU? I get that there is some obvious things like shipping/tariffs etc. but I have not found a good account for the 2-3x price difference between CH and EU vehicles for basically the same car, thanks!
👍Slick, pleasant, practical (hatchback!). I would choose Mona over Tesla S. (although my preference is a crossover/mid-suv/small mpv as I prefer comfort for all family and practicality over sporty features)
What matters most to me is efficiency, passive safety and price/running costs. Especially if it drives well and looks nice too. If they can soundly beat the competition there they certainly have a product that appeals to me. I'm not really into self-driving capabilities. In fact I'm really annoyed that I'm unable to use cruise control in my Model 3 Highland without some degree of unnecessary auto braking and various warnings. I find it super frustrating to drive a car that doesn't let me drive the car on my own.
Really great car for that price tag, hope it came to EU soon. I dont need entertaiment, no games or streeming. I just need a good good efficent car for everyday driving that can feed my off-grid house and charging from my solar array for free
I have been following the channel for a couple of months now and quiet enjoying your videos/narratives. Can you please make a price categorization and your selection of ev cars for the categories. Which one would you like to buy for example?
In some Europe countrys we don't really apreciate self driving feature. Looks a that's a nice car, good range, five Doors, very stylish desing interior and exterior, I Will buy It, If I can.
Suspension vs trunk space. Heat pump vs .194 drag coefficient. Central armrest? What is that thing you are resting your arm on? Other cars can't compete with M03 because they have no tech, they have less trunk space, lower range, and an arm rest that all cars have.
Interesting how the Mona 03 has a better CLTC range than the standard Model 3 (556km), when the WLTP and EPA ranges are about equal (513km WLTP, 272mi EPA). Would that mean the Mona is trimmed primarly for city driving?
None of these self driving systems are anywhere near really usable except for on the highway and even then if there is heavy traffic its not great. I went to look at the moaner a few days ago and it looks pretty nice in person, way better than in photos and videos, the backseat space is very cramped though, they've chosen boot space (its massive) over backseat space which I don't think was a good choice. The interior is ok but you can clearly tell the difference between more expensive options on the quality of materials used. From what I have seen of the Onvo L60 you would have to be mad to choose the moaner over that.
maybe there are confusion with xpeng marketing team? or difference with software versions? wheelsboy for example, says the level 2 self driving thing is available for all model including the basic model. so its not just lane keep. while telescope says the basic model only have lane keep.
