Your welcome. I try my best to point everything out as if everyone is working with it for the first time no matter what the tool is. Thank you for watching.
I'm glad you are liking them. I still love them. I will say that about a month ago I was framing in a window and using the square #1 driver bits on some framing screws and it kept stripping out as I needed to be real careful not to overtighten and split the wood. I tried one of the Bosch square #1 and it worked great. No spin out and did exactly what I wanted. I was disappointed in this, as I don't like the Philips #2 or T25 Bosch driver bits at all. I'm glad I have more then one set as in my experience, the XPS are not the best for all types of fasteners. 99% of the time I'm using T25 or Phillips #2 so I'd still go with the XPS bits no doubt.
@@tgltoday2717 Yes Sir, I'm going to buy them for my little sister. I bought her a new impact driver and want her to have a great kit to use. GOD be with you always and bless you always sir. 😎
Bosch bits are okay, but wear out quick. Milwaukee bits for great but seem to wear fairly quick. My fave is the DeWalt Max Fit! (I really wanna try out some high end bits though Wera/Wiha Etc)
I've stopped buying Bosch now as I also think they just don't hold up long. I have the Shockwave, but haven't been using them as I want to give the XPS a real good go and see how well they hold up. Max Fit were my go to for a long time and I still use them. I keep them in all my screw organizers so if I forget my bits, I will have at least one to get the job done. I've heard some people say once you start using the high end like your talking about, you will never use the cheaper ones again. If you ever get them, let me know what you think.
Although I'm not a contractor, that is what I've started to do after buying one of these kits like this one that has basically one of everything in it. I now just buy the bulk stacks of what I actually need cuz otherwise you're just wasting money in my opinion.
Correct. The 2 inch bits are not supposed to be used in the magnetic bit holder. You can use the special magnetic piece on the 2in to help magnetize your screw if not using the 1in.
I think that is a good choice. I've never used the XP bits, but i've seen a lot of mixed reviews on them. I'd rather the Dewalts, or Milwaukee's over the XP's. I hope you enjoy your new XPS set.
@@tgltoday2717 i used it to put some long screws threw old 4x6 barn wood... worked like butter.. will they last... only time will tell. The case is cool too.
I have done my own test and found that, especially in the case of the #2 phillips, the Wiha Terminator Blue performed better for me. The Wiha fit and drove screws better, and took less damage to the tip. That was without a magnetic screw holder.
I've heard that the Wiha bits are very nice. My understanding is they are a step up from the Makita/Milwaukee/ DeWalt. Basically the big box store brand bits. I could be wrong in that. You're welcome!. I was real surprised when I went to the link and it wasn't the same exact set. I was surprised by the T27 as well. I know what you mean about the pz bits. It sure does stink.
