The autopilot is a bridge between the airplane and the pilot. The autopilot does not have a stand-alone function. Just follows the commands of the Pilots.

Computer was being very rude before he landed
At least the Autopilot was polite enough to wait until 10 feet above the runway. In good weather it starts insulting you in 30 feet.
Boeing do the same, but don't say it out loud, they just write the message on the display. Insulting the human pilots is mandatory these days.
