Such an extremely talented great musician, Jaidev ji, had been consigned to oblivion by the society and the music fraternity. He passed away quietly, unsung... though many of his compositions remain all-time favourites of music lovers. Songs composed by Jaidev ji for films Mujhe Jiney Doe and " Hum Dono " were very popular in those days. Rafisaab did justice to the songs of Hum Dono which were excellently lipped by Dev sahab .Lataji's songs for Mujhe Jiney Doe were excellent.
Jatadev was a great composer. In thex60s,and 70s we got fantastic nostalgic music from him. His songs in Hum Dono are legendary. No other music director touched the distinction of melody as in Abhi na jdo snd Slla tero naam. Star in the film sky.

Jaidev ji has composed music for Nepali film MAITIGHAR (maternal house). Many renowned singers of Mumbai film industry had sung in his composition. LATA, ASHA, USHA, MANNADEY,, GEETA DUTT sang songs for this film while Mala Sinha was in lead role; Gopi Krishna's dance and a cameo role of Sunil Dutt was also there. title song 'maitighar' sung by asha ji, 'timi lai lakha lakha bandana, timi lai Shuvkamana' sung by lata ji, ' Na mana laaj yestari' duet sung by Usha ji and Nepali legendary singer Premdhwaj, ' Jay jay sunday swadesh, jay jay jay janani Nepal' and ' jindagi lai jeet hoina har le swagat gari' by Manna dey and other folk tune based songs by geeta dutt ji and Nepali singers are still considered as one of the masterpiece composition in Nepali film sangeet.
