I clicked on this video and decided to watch for a few seconds cause I was curious if I could figure out where this was taken. Then I instantly realized... I GREW UP HERE, I can't believe this random video I clicked on drives through the same area I lived for 10 years of my life. I've taken the exact routes shown in the beginning hundreds and hundreds of times growing up. I still come back sometimes to visit my parents off of exit 176... so much has changed these past couple years. I actually cried a little opening this video and seeing that part of the highway. It's so hard to describe the feeling. I've since moved out of my parents' house and still come back to visit, but for some reason this video and the rain took me on a journey through all those years as a teenager. All the memories of all those times I drove through shertz, cibolo, new braunfels.... dreaming of going to better places and doing bigger things in life. It's been a long road but the journey made me someone I can be proud of.
It's pretty awesome when you see a random video and realize, "Omg, I KNOW THAT PLACE!" It's like receiving an unexpected gift in the mail. It's pretty cool. I'm so glad you got this gift.❤
I remember laying on the back seat of my parents Ford Fairlajne in 1962 while it was raining and driving to my grandparents house in Memphis. Very calming…
One of my favorite memories as well, my parents talking in low voices in the front, the radio very quiet, we kids in the back sleeping with the driving rain on the windshield and the whooshing sounds when overtaking trucks..
I think everybody knows the highways they drive - even when the look so much alike! I had to watch for awhile to figure it wasn't anywhere I'd driven - even though it was so close! Have a good day Texas!
I've been up for 20 hrs and I have to be back up in 2 hrs, but I've been having SUCH insomnia restlessness lately. Somehow I had a feeling that flutes would help to soothe me, but this video was even better than I expected. The music and reason are perfectly gentle and balanced so there's no startling dynamic changes, and the background scenery is beautiful and relaxing as well, so soft and still and comforting. As soon as I turned this on I felt the bodily tension and frantic thoughts melt away into perfect peace. My eyes are already closing. Thank you so much for this good medicine 🙏💜
