man i really need to get back into my routine. life hit me hard recently and all my good habits fell to pieces. kettlebells and lebestark vids always are the foundation for me when starting over and getting back on track. well that and just going on walks.

Been wondering about you, CiD. Sorry to hear you had a rough go recently. Frequency over the year beats a few weeks or months long setback. As always, listen to your body & ease back into it.

30 to 45 mins work along format is best. Every morning I have just 90 mins for myself. At 42 and after many years of lifting I have lots of issues. So daily I do 30 mins Yoga for lower back, neck, shoulder and flexibility. And 30 to 40 min of dynamic kettlebell for all other fitness needs. Keep them coming!!

Great protocol! Do you do your own yoga routine or do a follow along?

I tried this one but I added rear chest flies with light and medium resistance bands; it was a sweat fest. I even managed to do a full 10 with double 40lb adjustable KBs. Thank you for another great workout Coach G. I have learned so much from you and Ms Angie.

Gave this a try this morning. Was definitely feeling the push-ups after I passed fifty.
I couldn’t manage the five swings on each side because I reverted to my programming and went right to hand to hand swings.
Might need to ask Santa (me) for a pull up bar for Christmas.

Thanks Gregory and Angie, I learn so much with you. Hope to take your kettle bell trainer training soon. One of my new Personal clients joined a GYM with lots of machines, I discussed with her that we can start building the foundation with that, so she feels stronger, but that eventually we want to move to free weight with kettlebells, body weight exercises, to develop the agility and more diverse body adaptations that long term will support her.

Seeing as how you like calisthenics, may I recommend setting up gymnastics rings? These are great for pull-ups, dips, inverted rows and push-ups.

Ive been experimenting with ladder sets recently. 2-20 by even numbers splitting both upper and lower body exercises. E.g. burpees and kb thrusters. Killer stuff!

    • @ManwithNoName-t1o

key is to drop the kettlebell
Ask yourself: "is there something better I could be doing?"
so many far superior fitness activities you could be doing.
      - weight lifting
      - jogging
      - aerobics
      - swimming
      - calisthenics
      - yoga
      - martial arts
And it injures the joints. Very basic knowledge of movement tells you to NEVER lock out your joints like your elbows or knees. And guess what he does? locks out his knees.
He's also hyper extending his lower spin on the swings. Tons of sheering force on his spine.
This guy is a snake oil salesman. He gets kickbacks from prokettlebell. His whole deal is kettlebells. Of course he's going to say good things about it. But think for yourself and you will realize it is a stupid exercise that can harm your back. He's got videos of him doing workouts with a fricken back brace. You look at his gym he's got a squat rack, a bench, pull up bars. He's not getting jacked like that from the kettle bell.
      Don't be fooled.
