I'm not sure why so many shops recommend putting smaller speakers on these doors. Same with the XLR, there are a few good options to use, the Dayton Audio Dayton ls10-44, handles about 250-450 watts and plays up to about 300hz, there are a few Kenwood options as well, and they all require about 300-500 watts, but like the Dayton they only good up to around 250hz or so, now the SB Acoustics SW26SFC38, which is classified as a subwoofer but it plays clean high enough to match up well with the 3.5" speakers, and it only requires 80-100 watts of power, killer SQ. Another more powerful option which is better than the subs in this video are the Pioneer Z series flat 10" subs, those play very high, SQ subs and dig very low! can handle about 300-400 watts of power and you can get them in 4 ohms or 2 ohms. Like the dude said, dynamat your doors and enjoy killer upfront bass and SQ.
@@roycekrispie appreciate it brother, old guys in the forum say 10" can't be done and won't hold up lol and you put the new amp in the footwell where the factory one went?
