They have tried modern East Asian restaurant business models like sushi go-arounds, individual serving booths with intentionally "anonymous" servers, automated ordering, etc. here in the U.S. Sadly, most do not take off. Americans are SCARED of these no nonsense to-the-point dining styles. They prefer waiting, chitchat, and being served by actual servers with faces, and they like to be compelled into paying gratuity.
I wish we could have restaurants where staff were paid by their employers properly enough that they didn't rely on their customers to determine if they earn an actual wage or not. How refreshing

As an Arab and a Muslim, this restaurant is amazing. The way it's designed to respect your privacy, the fact you can eat a delicious japanese ramen not worrying about pork, and the service itself.. My god, hopefully I'll visit this place one day.. Japan is wonderful.
I don't think you understand the meaning of halal. It has to be done in a certain way not all chicken and beef are halal. Just because there is no pork does not mean it is halal.

Not really a funfact, but ichiran ramen actually has stated in their website that this no-pork ramen is not certified halal... They dont really recommend it to muslim like us. So yeah.. All ichiran ramen probably are not 100% halal.
My first time visiting osaka with my mum, was in early January 2020. We pretty much like to stroll around dotonbori just to enjoy street food. This ramen shop are easy to Miss if we don't read the sign. Little bit pricey, but definitely one of the best Ichiran Ramen experience in Osaka.
I really like the way the restaurant arranges seats for each customer to enjoy the food, and what I find most interesting is that before sitting down, we can also choose our own flavor. Another thing I like is that when we take a seat, we can sit alone and not be bothered by others, and we can also leave the seat when we have something to do by leaving one of the wooden signs behind. small so as not to lose space, as well as in the video, each table will be provided with a free cold water tap to pour drinks. And something special is when we are given a lucky egg to peel and eat, because it is a soft-boiled egg so it looks very delicious🥚. Another great thing is that you can order another drink and so on, it helps you not only have to drink cold water but also enjoy tea and many other drinks and yes, desserts. mouth too🍮. Yes, the service at that restaurant is excellent. In short, the food and service at Ichiran ramen/Ramen Vending Machine Restaurant is great and good and this is a very good video. To my muslim brothers and sisters out there, this is not a halal restaurant eventho it says 'no pork' doesn't mean it's halal because at 8:30 as you can see on the bottom of the paper, it stated "contain a trace amount of alcohol" plus, the beef is not certified as halal (based on some comments that I saw) so becareful , make sure to do some research first☺✌

Japanese food isn't any healthier they have less regulation about harmful additives in their food than we do in the US (let's ask shogo did a video about it I was surprised) eating healthy in general is just healthy and noodle broths are usually loaded with salt which is not good for you.... still gonna eat it and lo e it though lol

Excited for my japan trip this spring.
My first time visiting osaka with my mum, was in early January 2020. We pretty much like to stroll around dotonbori just to enjoy street food. This ramen shop are easy to Miss if we don't read the sign. Little bit pricey, but definitely one of the best Ichiran Ramen experience in Osaka.
It sounds wonderful from an introvert’s perspective, both if you were the customer and if you were the worker.
I really like the way the restaurant arranges seats for each customer to enjoy the food, and what I find most interesting is that before sitting down, we can also choose our own flavor. Another thing I like is that when we take a seat, we can sit alone and not be bothered by others, and we can also leave the seat when we have something to do by leaving one of the wooden signs behind. small so as not to lose space, as well as in the video, each table will be provided with a free cold water tap to pour drinks. And something special is when we are given a lucky egg to peel and eat, because it is a soft-boiled egg so it looks very delicious🥚. Another great thing is that you can order another drink and so on, it helps you not only have to drink cold water but also enjoy tea and many other drinks and yes, desserts. mouth too🍮. Yes, the service at that restaurant is excellent. In short, the food and service at Ichiran ramen/Ramen Vending Machine Restaurant is great and good and this is a very good video. I hope there are more videos like this and I hope the creator has a good day.

To my muslim brothers and sisters out there, this is not a halal restaurant eventho it says 'no pork' doesn't mean it's halal because at 8:30 as you can see on the bottom of the paper, it stated "contain a trace amount of alcohol" plus, the beef is not certified as halal (based on some comments that I saw) so becareful , make sure to do some research first☺✌

@@mrpotato6567 it not about dirty, we just cant eat pork, dog and blood, and even with beef or something similar, we still need islamic method of butchering for the meat to be called halal
This looks like a very healthy place. It seems to be a very fulfilling meal with an amazing dessert at the end. I wish we had places like that here in America.

Japanese food isn't any healthier they have less regulation about harmful additives in their food than we do in the US (let's ask shogo did a video about it I was surprised) eating healthy in general is just healthy and noodle broths are usually loaded with salt which is not good for you.... still gonna eat it and lo e it though lol

As a person who is Muslim I feel so happy and excited to visit this location. It has always been a dream of mine to Visit Japan and have some Ramen but was always worried about it since the broth contains pork. This makes me feel so welcomed 😊😊
While this branch of Ichiran utilizes Beef and Chicken, rather than Pork - the restaurant is not Halal. The Beef and Chicken used are not Halal certified. Furthermore, the broth is prepared with Sake and Mirin (both contain alcohol) - which is Haram and cannot be deemed Halal.
I like this one Ramen "No Pork" for a muslim like me this is good, but u can see Even though the ramen at the restaurant is pork-free, the queue proves that the ramen here is delicious 🤤😋👌

I was ecstatic when I saw "No Pork" because I thought they serve halal ramen. Looked it up and unfortunately, the meat they use isn't halal certified 😭Which sucks because this looks delicious and I would've loved to try it if I got the chance to visit Japan.
