Am a P.E teacher and I can't relate at all. Poor them, can't even enjoy nice things.
I literally had the same thought: "It would be so great if my husband and I went together to visit my students with posters ". That would not be fun for him at all...I miss them. So I decided to mail them handwritten letters with lots of Dr. Seuss stickers to make them special. I addressed it to , "My Awesome Student ______". They were very encouraged. Mission accomplished!

Vale K It’s a website that has different music and things for children to listen to. You can also add RUclips videos to your account. I like it for my c;ass because it it doesn’t play commercials like RUclips does.
My son is in the first grade, charter school in NY, and their brain break is watching some Jack Hartmann videos on their own.
🤣🤣 Glad it’s not just me. By week 4...How about my own 18 and 21 year-old children were singing songs my K-5 kids were learning virtually? I’m sure they were tired of me going, “Awww, look at what my student did...and look at this picture they sent, this video they made... 😢😭😭” 🤷🏾♀️🥰 #IMissMyKidsToo

Same here; I teach Middle School, and it was more a matter of uploading assignments, setting up an online tutoring schedule, then periodically checking e-mails and wondering if/when students were going to sign up for tutoring (mostly not), and turn in assignments (about 3/4 of them).
Gucci Del Taco I teach kindergarten. My team worked together to put weekly assignments on our schools distance learning page. Of course being kinders, they didn’t have to upload any assignments. I don’t even know if they actually did the work. 🤷🏾♀️
@@cewe2003 A handful of my students had no internet access, so our district made written packets available to them. I have NO idea if they did anything.

Was he wearing a Frisco Roughriders hat (Teddy). We use to attend a lot of their games when we lived in Texas. Lots of laughter and love from a High School teacher. At least the little kids' songs are safe for work!
Possibly, but I doubt it. This newly married couple, both teachers (Him - High School Social Studies teacher & JV Basketball coach, Her - 3rd grade teacher) live in Concord, New Hampshire. A long ways from Texas.
I am in college and I MISS going to school, sitting in front of my computer at home is convenient. But I'm a stem student and being immersed in science all day helps me stay motivated, I'm just lucky my best friend and I have the same major and take the same classes. I do most of my socializing and study group activities over zoom. I probably wont even get to have an in person class at my current college before I transfer.
Not to mention not having real in person labs....
