“Just hold still, I’m a professional” and “ I hate being the one to tell you Jess but you’re mic has been off for the last 30 minutes” are my favorite lines
I’m a teacher, and during this semester I had students physically in class and virtually. 30 minutes goes by and I was getting frustrated that my virtual kids were responding when called on. As I started threatening to mark people absent, someone finally said I had been on mute. 🤦♀️ And so I had to explain everything all over again. Long story short, I’ll never trust them to tell me if I have food in my teeth or anything like that 😂
I remember someone used "reply all" when replying to a college-wide email message just to say "ok". It caused an avalanche of email messages from other people saying not to use the "reply all" when replying to an email message. I had to stop using my college email address for a month to avoid being bombarded with this cascade of email message replies. This was in a technical college for business, health, electronics and computer majors who should have all taken basic computer class. Then someone stupidly restarted it a month later.

I dont require my students to login to Zoom. Its optional if they want to connect or have questions. Ive made all of my assignments kid and parent friendly so I get very few questions
We only require it once a week mostly to give announcements and do Good Things, but we gave up enforcing it real soon after doing it lol. Now when we see them online, we just push Friday afternoon social hour because we want to check in with them candidly and play a little since they work so hard are going through so much!
Your adorable! Hubby taught little second graders. So you have my sympathy. What grade do u teach?
Your husband is such a good sport
I'm related services. I'm required to meet my minutes so though my work schedule is mostly the same. As times I feel like I'm working a little bit more to meet Re-eval deadlines.
Ha ha, this is SO ME!!!
Most of my teachers only jobs are literally creating things we need to learn and things we need to awnser and occasionally once a month we have a zoom meeting for one subject and that subject will always not be math and math is the only thing I need something to be taught to me 👁👄👁 but then again, we get to choose if we go to school that day or not so we can literally not go to school for a week as long as you finish the things your supposed to do and pass the exams 😎
I only show my face in the video chats lol
This hits home
This person clearly is not a teacher. Like others of you who have commented - I have been working three times as hard during this Distance Learning.
From what show is that music intro? I know I've heard somewhere 🤔
