Yes lol! Makes you wonder what happened to it... there was a second even more dented container there at the food bank too... perhaps they got damaged in transit to the supermarket??! Was definitely a stroke of good fortune for me and am so grateful to get it! Best wishes to you and your family for a happy Easter too Mona😊
I don't know why so many of your old videos are showing up. But I'm enjoying them. What a wonderful blessing for your family. Have a blessed weekend Mem😊
Hey Gwen! Thanks so much. Glad to hear that you enjoy this style of video with me unpacking everything. Hope you have a great week over there my friend😊
Unboxing is a great way to show every thing you get. You tend to miss items out when you already have them laid out on the table. Great haul this week.

With the tuna I take two cans and two cans crea🎉m of mushroom and two cans of milk .Take a ten ounce of rippled potato chips and crush them good. Use a two quart casserole dish and spray it and put a few chips on bottom to layer. Save some mushroom soup to put over top .save some chips for top of soup put one can peas into soup mix.cend with soup mix . Bake at 375 degrees for about 75 minutes. And enjoy. I grew up on this recipe and I still make it and for my kids. Have a good day.

@@makingendsmeet your welcome. I have volunteered with our local food bank to pass out food. I have encouraged people to take advantage. We have a Mobil drive through where food is distributed in different parts of the city and surrounding counties. The only requirement is you must live in the county where the food is being given away. They give extra food for children. I enjoy seeing how creative people can be with different foods on a budget.
That's such a wonderful service to have operating in your area, I'm sure they really appreciate you volunteering as well Lydia. Thank you for encouraging others to get some help if they need it. I do find it a fun challenge to make meals with the foods we receive. Some weeks you really do need to be creative!
Thanks, I'm so glad too!! Yes and it's $40 when they have it marked down on special up here - and that's meant to be a saving!! I'm so grateful to get it. Hope you have a good weekend and Easter😊
Yep, excellent food bank hauls. Your family is lucky you make the effort collecting food for them. Hope you enjoy eating some of these items/ meals too. All the best. ❤️
Thanks Joanne for your kind words. Yes these groceries are a big help to us at the moment - my family will very much enjoy eating the food, myself included! Best wishes to you too and thanks so much for watching😊
I'm late getting to you, we have been planting spuds and veg for summer. The oil was an amazing thing to be given and those Cadbury cake bars are £2 a pack here. Lovely haul, hope you have a lovely Easter and the kids enjoy their time off school, we have sunshine today so the BBQ will be fired up today. Have a lovely weekend.
Hey Al! That sounds exciting (and hard work)... homegrown vegetables are the best. It was so amazing to get the olive oil indeed, such a blessing! The cake bars are delicious, sounds like they're popular in the UK as well. Hope you and your family have a lovely Easter too. Enjoy the sunshine and your BBQ😊
I love that the stores donate not so perfect items and you get a chance at some extras. I agree, the oil was a really good item to receive. I hope you have a lovely Easter holiday.
I have spotted the rasp tops biscuits in my local Poundland store. They have started having frozen items starting from £1 each, along with more chillers too.
Hi Rebecca alot of bigger poundland store having freezers fitted into them because poundland brought out jack fullion how ever you spell it couple years ago there adding freezer section into there bigger stores haven't got to my two local bigger stores yet hopefully do it soon
That is great that you got a stable box of groceries. I went to my food pantry today just before my money comes on my food card. It looks like they want to make sure your entire family gets the basic food group and a weekly visit is awesome!!
You can have vegemite on toast and a bowl of cereal for brekkie. Peanut Butter sandwich with fresh apple and carrots on the side for lunch. Dinner can be bangers and mash or bangers and a jacket potato with a bit of tuna and corn or baked beans on the side.
Yes it's a big help to my family. That's great that you went to your food pantry today as well... sounds like it was perfect timing to help you out too.
Love the unboxing. It's like finding a little treasure box 📦 ❤ I'm not gonna mention the cobram you know what.... cos everyone has mentioned it ! Hahahahaha it was defo awesome though ! Excellent as always. Sending positivity from Victoria ❤
Thank you😊Yes there's something exciting about unboxing all the goodies - it's always a surprise to see what you get each week! The general consensus seems to be that everyone seems to enjoy these types of videos too so I will try to include more of them hopefully in future. Appreciate your support... sending positive vibes back down to you😍
@@makingendsmeet my husband loves to plant flowers and bushes and I love to look at them. There won't be any new of those this year until we get caught up on building up the savings again from all the fuel and meals going to get him tested for that cancer surgery Monday so we can get 2 bad trees taken down by our bedroom. Thank You
Hi Sandra, You're fortunate indeed to have food banks like that. This food bank I go to on Fridays is run by a church. My understanding is that the $10 I pay is used towards them purchasing any extra goods that may not be covered by their own funds and donations already and for things like the cost of fuel, electricity for refrigeration/freezers etc. to store the food. They get a large amount of the dry goods items for the boxes they provide from the larger charity organisation 'Foodbank Australia', which has warehouses enabling smaller charities access to free and heavily discounted groceries donated by supermarkets, businesses and farmers, some of these items I believe still have a cost to the church. Not to say that there's some food banks in Australia that provide food completely for free, this is just how this one operates. Thanks so much for your great question and for watching😊

Is Porridge the same as cream of wheat or Farina???
You cook it similar to Farina, but these ones are made with rolled oats not wheat... we tend to call it porridge here but you may know it as oatmeal😊
