Lionel should sell these piers separate so people can use them for their girder bridges like in this video... That way people could use them where a small bridge is all you need.... Please think about it Lionel.. I love the way this works..
Hell Mike, drove down from PA to S, VA to help Father In-law get his big-bad R&R going. All fast track-two levels-about 60 or more switches-3 main lines-& more to fine out what other units are call. I do thank you for your uploads you have helped me to start in & hopefully confident in what I hope is few repairs. will keep this page up & post a photo of Rail Road Track an units. After many of your videos I know now at test the proper names, you have done a great job at the presentation of the Lionel Line.
Wow. Great video and great engineering. It's exactly what I need for my new layout. Thank you. Any plans for a two track bridge, or will I have to purchase two singles?
What is the width of the piers? I have three tracks virtually side by side. I'm afraid the piers are going to be too wide or I will have to raise them something underneath.
Hi Mike, I have a question about the Lionel Extention Trestle Bridge. Can I install a LED beacon light on the top center of the bridge? Can you show us how to install the light in one of your future videos? Thank you for taking the time to read my questions and I hope to hear from you soon. I like the show very much. Sincerely Allan
I'm not sure I haven't got mine in the mail yet but I hope it's compatible and it being made in China and has nothing to do with it I hope although Lionel did used to be American made I do wonder how much of Lionel is overseas are we fully American owned still
Beautiful bridge, problem with wires that do not seem to connect easily and are loose, truss mounting unit rails having trouble lining up track, but most worry "made in China"
Thank you for showing leave these videos now I am totally convinced to completely stay away from Lionel and all the gadgets that they have the mix is so expensive that there’s no possible way I could ever afford it and it takes all the fun out of it what happens just using tracking the transformer
Sweet!
Excellent instructional video!
I'm sold!

Thanks for the information, you just solved a design problem as well as a memory
Great video! Thanks for sharing.

Nice bridge.
Is Lionel going to make Fastrack pieces, without the gravel, designed for elevated sections?
That would be great!
They already do. You just snip the gravel off the track. Instructions explain everything.
Lowell Dever yeah gravel doesn't float
My son gave me a bridge for Christmas. He'll give me another one in March for my birthday. I'll have a big bridge.
Interesting video

it is possible and it wouldnt be that hard, you could probably look it up and see how to do it!
Allan Martinez
Does it work without using the piers?
You should make a Golden Gate Bridge for all types of tracks you'll get a lot of money off of that
Lionel can you leave the front part off for the gg1 or is it no possible

Can you use the bridges without using the piers?
i connected the black wires to the outside rail but didn't crossover just straight to outside rail. does it matter?
I want to build a Bollman truss like the one in Savage MD any ideas
Does anyone know if this has enough clearance for MTH Husky stack cars?
why do you need spacers for fastrack trestle 6-12038 if track snaps into place without the spacers
Will a large engine like the Vision Line Big Boy both in the bridge and underneath it?
Edgar Taylor
Where can I buy steam locomotive that runs on minimum 027 curve track
Why are the piers a yellowish color - the catalog showed them as black?
Tom W I have the same question the color is the video isn't that appealing
how much money?
