I really hope they will work on the engine simulation. I noticed that the engine parameters all match exactly. That would be nearly impossible. Take a look at pmdg 737 and you see the parameters vary..god bless!
I saw this come up in the Collector's Chat on Discord I think. It is my understanding they are going to tune those engines so they are a little more realistic on that front.
Hey great video Mac. Some quick feedback, please don't teach people to delete vectors out of the SIDs or STARs. These vectors are critically important for ATC and on networks such as VATSIM we have numerous problems with pilot deviations from the end of STARs due to them deleting these vectors. The final track on the STAR should always be flown until ATC gives further clearance.
That's a fair enough point. Tell you what, I will make it a point if I do that in the future to stress NOT to do that if you are flying on network. For those flying off network, it is helpful to know. Will that help? Thanks for the feedback.
Will the plane have a real-time loading feature like a lot of other planes do for Passengers/Cargo/Fuel? Used to love seeing the fuel fill each tank on the PMDG MD-11

How is this compared to the rotate’s MD-11. It looks (so far) more advanced functionality. I know it’s still early (for TDFI’s MD-11) so it may not be completely comparable.
In its current state, I would say it is on par with or a tad better than the Rotate MD-11. So, as they continue to polish it off and add the remaining features they are planning, I have no doubt it will outshine the Rotate.
I think the flight model is really good. There are a few limitations in MSFS as compared to Xplane, but I dont think they will be noticeable to most folks. I will say, the TFDi MD-11 "feels" heavier than the Rotate, which I appreciate.
I just downloaded it, I have no liveries, no spinning fanblades, texture mapping issues and as soon as I take off it banks violently to the left no matter what I do. And it's not like I don't know how to fly it, I have loads of hours in the PMDG MD-11 in FSX. Reinstalled it, no change. It almost feels like mine is not activated or something.

If it's not activated the yokes and rudder will be stuck full left and you won't have any displays. I know there are a few textures still being cleaned up as well.
So, I'm not 100% on whether or not that's a correct statement. I'll take a look at the latest build and see if weather is auto populated or not for the route

Slope in this case is 1134-1110=24'. 24/10300*100= 0.2% upslope. Thanks for the video, can't wait!
