Acoustic Guitar and Vocal Miking Techniques with Blue Microphones, Cameron Webb and Marié Digby

Looking for the best microphone techniques for a singer-songwriter? We recently spent an afternoon with Grammy Award-winning engineer and record producer Cameron Webb covering a variety of his favorite mic techniques. We were joined by singer-songwriter Marié Digby, who performed her song "Jet Streams".
Filmed at Blue Microphones HQ, this video covers miking a vocalist and an acoustic guitar at the same time. For the acoustic guitar microphone , Cameron chose to utilize a Blue Dragonfly condenser microphone on the upper bout of the guitar and. To record Marié's vocals, Cameron chose a Blue Bottle Rocket condenser microphone.

I have a Blue Raspberry Mic. The sound is great but When I use it to make videos with my i phone 6 plus the video when played is out of synch with the audio. Any idea how I might fix this?

Realign in iMovie. It's probably a result of the latency of the mic, so it should be a constant. Once you identify how much it's delayed, you should be able to shift any video made in same manner the same amount... percussive sounds work well for this.
