- On our third day in Scotland we walked around town and saw some of the most famous places in Edinburgh like the Grassmarket, the Royal Mile, Dean Village and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Because the weather was nice we had a BBQ in the backyard at dinner time.

Sigh! You just made me homesick. And I left 55 years ago. Although I’ve been back a few times over the years.
But sadly it’s been several years since my last visit. So now I’m an Armchair tourist.
Nice to what remains from my childhood, and what has changed. Which to be honest is quite a lot. But it’s definitely a more fun City.
Thanks for sharing my old home town. And the memories that are brought back.
You are welcome. You must be proud of your city.
I always love visiting Edinburgh. It's just something special
This video has all my favourite plaaaaaaces! Also it shows the Edinburgh weather so accurately: "it's kinda hot" "it is kinda chilly now" .DD
Haha, exactly! XD Denmark can be the same way though, but mostly warm in the summer :)
Kakibot I love your RUclips Channel and I was so surprised to see you in this video, I said to myself « oh I know her » ^^
@@elodiewho awww! That's so sweet! Merete is my bestie - we actually met through making videos! So now we pop up in each other's travel vlog from time to time .3
Awesome video! Great shots and editing.
Thank you so much for saying so :D
Thank u for a video, I was once in Edinburgh, so my plan is live there ❤️
Your vlogs feel so cozy. Love them.
I have been to Edinburgh last June and absolutely loved it! I have seen and done almost everything you mention/show in your video. I haven't been to the botanical gardens. Looks nice!
Edinburgh is so nice to visit :D I usually go there every year.
@@MeretelovesJapan Next time you are in town, have a look at Fettes College, The architectural stone carvings are a must see.
Botanical garden is just perfect, I loved it❤️
Unbelieveable places !
My travels or tarries in Edinburgh were in 2007 and 2009 !
Delicious food !

Excellent family who welcomed me !
Greatest missing !
Yes, Scotland is amazing to visit. I can't wait to go back! :D
It was fun traveling around Edinburgh with you, thanks.
No problem :D
Fellow travellers here! Great video! We just subscribed!
Thank you so much! :D
I live five minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens, and it's possibly my favourite place in Edinburgh - at least when the sun is actually shining! I'm a full-time student so it's lovely to be able to wander over with a book and a notepad, and study on a bench or on the grass.
It's such a nice place. I wish we'd had more time to explore it :D

I tuned in because the video showed up in my recommendations...I’m watching and look who’s there with you but Kakibot I subscribe to and her Simon 😊😊 So cool. Anyway, loved the video, real sweet shots and enjoyed all the activity happening around you. Hope you are well during this crazy time we are all in.

nice video. Keep it up!!!
Most Edinburgh thing I heard...’so, I got the Haggis Gumbo at the Kenyan food stall’! Edinburgh welcomes the world!
You had the dark chocolate Jaffa cakes try the milk chocolate ones they’re the regular ones, also try terry’s orange chocolate!
I'll try to find it next time. Thank you for your recommendation :D
Merete, you have to be norwegian. Please don't tell me you never had jaffa cakes back home?? :D
Close, I'm Danish.
No that trip was the first time I tried jaffa cakes ever, actually :)
Are you scottish? Nice videos!!
No, I'm Danish. What made me seem Scottish? :)
you seemed very scottish to me! Me and my wife are from Brazil and we are going to visit Scotland on July. We are watching a lot of your videos to get tips. Do you live in Scotland for a long time?
the Scot blond lady woman must have Celt and Scot blood !
Although a little of Viking !
the folks who built the Scot people were Scots, Celts,Picts and Britons in the North of Great Britain
Despite they suffered a plenty of invasion by Romans, Saxons,Danes, Vikings and Normans !
But there was ever resistence !
Haha, yeah I'm not sure home many percent viking I am. And I guess a lot of the people who live in the North share some DNA :)
Your choice of background music is good. Try to stabilise your shots. I am perhaps your 5oth comment..cheers
Thanks for your comment. This is an old video, so I think I've become much better at stabilising. But things can always be improved :)
@@MeretelovesJapan glad to hear from you again
Please come in India and make a blog
I would love to go to India some day (^^)
Your most welcome in India plzzzz come stay at my home
I will help you
I'mThai.
You lost me at starbucks
I thought I was going to see sights in Edinburgh, but all I saw was your group eating several times and a walk through a park and a market, what a waste of my time.
They are not "British" crumpets. They are "English crumpets".
Alright then :)
Merete Scottish crumpets are thin pancakes that can be rolled up.
Oh really? I didn't know. I need to try those :D
Not that widespread but Bayne's bakers does them sometimes. English crumpets have yeast in them. Scottish crumpets don't so are basically pancakes.
Do you like india
I've never been to India, so I don't know :)
Love their culture ( from a Scot)
Doesn't look any fun at all. This place is like dead and cold. Have studied in this town many years ago and don't miss a bit. Much rather to be on a lively beach
I love Scotland :)
Alright killjoy
