When I tell you I lost my shit when he started doing the same dodge move on me that I’ve been doing all game, that had me audibly going “No freaking WAY!” 😮 He was the perfect challenge that I was hoping for at the end of this game. I kinda enjoy the fact the four temple bosses are sort of remakes of older Zelda bosses like Colgera basically being an ice Molgera, obviously Marbled Gohma just being rock Gohma, and even bosses like Queen Gibdo and Mucktorok were similar to Mothula and that one octorok boss from Phantom Hourglass, it’s nice that they took that route I enjoyed fighting every boss in this game especially the corrupted construct that fight was just so unique, even though they use the fight twice in the game, it was still fun
I love how this game constantly does stuff like that, taking old stuff and revamping it, while also adding new stuff we haven’t seen before Also awesome pfp
I really like how they brought back just giant monsters as bosses this time around, because BotW just had variations of the same creature in every dungeon. TotK has so much more enemy variety and the bosses are amazing
You know what would have been a better execution for the Demon Dragon fight? This: Right after swallowing the stone and transforming, Ganon ignores Link and flies into outer space to coat the entire planet in gloom using his breath. as Link helplessly watches the gloom fall from the sky, the sages come to and give their secret stones to Link, which then transform him not into a dragon, but into a godlike, winged being bathed in divine light and resembling Fierce Deity Link from Majora's Mask. Link then flies into space to confront Ganon, and a fight kind of similar to the one with Jubileus The Creator from Bayonetta ensues.
The Final fight would be nice if it had one more final phase with his Boar Demon Form in the end, where he knocks everyone out and it becomes a duel between him and Link, Man vs Beast, just like in the "old times"

I really did like that true ending, i really like how it sorta represents what this franchise has become, its grown so much. Namely the characters from each tribe and civilization in solidarity with Zelda and Link, they are each so likable and cool.
tbf i don't think any of the Ganondorf fights before this game were amazingly difficult either, i only remember the horseback phase of the twilight princess ganondorf fight giving me big trouble

tip with colgera: apparently you DONT have to use arrows on its underside? When it fires it’s spikes at you, you can dive through it’s weak point to destroy it and deal damage When i first fought it i also thought you were required to use bow and arrrow

I feel like I’ve seen a lot of people fight Folgers with arrows. Although it’s more effective it a lot cooler to do it the way it was intended with diving into it after the ice shards fly at you.

The bosses in this game were amazing and while most of them weren't particularly hard they were mostly new and different and not boring. Even the Gannondorf/Dragon fights weren't super hard but were very well made and thought out. The only gripes I had were minor and mostly had to do with the Kohga fights but even they weren't terrible either. Overall this game lived up to its potential especially in bosses.

When Ganondorf started deleting my heart containers completely… I started getting a little concerned. I wasn’t expecting that type of challenge
That actually made the boss fight easier in my opinion since it just took away hearts you already lost instead of doing real damage to you

It is much harder, but it's difficult to tell because he had a good weapon. Actually, it may be the most difficult Ganondorf fight.

You dont need to use fire arrows on colgera. You can use normal arrows or wait for it to shoot the spikes of it's back and dive into it.

The bosses in this game were amazing and while most of them weren't particularly hard they were mostly new and different and not boring. Even the Gannondorf/Dragon fights weren't super hard but were very well made and thought out. The only gripes I had were minor and mostly had to do with the Kohga fights but even they weren't terrible either. Overall this game lived up to its potential especially in bosses.
