I extraordinarily appreciate the fight with ganondorf is a straight up sword fight. I'm one of the people that really does miss more "traditional" zelda. Sword, shield and thats pretty much it no tech
love all the new takes on old bosses. The gleeoks being those powerful bosses in the world, the new ghoma being the fire temple boss for once, plush that huge frog feels like an homage to TP's deku toads, so many great new takes on bosses in this game
I very much preferred to have all the blights as the final boss, made the ending way more fun/hard/impactful. I’d do a divine beast, then reload to before it, drop all the gear/healing I used and move on. That way it was still like I did the Divine Beast but also got the full health 11 phase boss at the end.
I love how the second phase of Demon King Ganondorf resembles more to the Demise, because the Demise cursed both the Goddess' descendant and the Hero to fight him for eternity in different forms, being that Ganon.

Tip For King Gleeok or any Gleeok in general: Use Bat eyes of any type as when you shoot at Gleeok‘s Eye with a Bat Eye attached it will actually fly to the eye
Guess I should’ve expected that they’d use Calamity Ganon’s theme during the final boss. Also the fact that he can STILL take away your hearts is terrifying
Yeah, the final Ganondorf boss fight was terrifying, between his hilariously large health bar, his ability to flurry rush you, and his ability to permanently remove your hearts, it was a real challenge
The fucking final skydive to catch zelda was probably the most epic feeling of being a hero in a zelda game next to kncoking king bulbin into the canyon from twillight princess. The main theme ontop of it turning to the lullaby and then the main zelda tune was absolutely perfect. The game had the most beautiful ending in the series
Actually those bosses are around several games in the franchise, gohma is a normal creatue in zelda, phantom ganon is nothing especial in oot and is his weakest form, also there are bosses from another titles like gleeok, but its not like he was exclusive from zelda 1, he appeared in many different games
I thought to myself that Mucktorok is similar to Cyclok from Phantom Hourglass and even though their heads looks kinda similar, there names end with “ok”. Just a thought when I first saw it….
I get this is in a different time line but I feel as if Jalhalla would have been the perfect world boss to add in the depths. He would've fit in perfectly with his weakness to light and the poes, and would've turned an old sillier boss into a modern badass one. We saw it happen with Molgera as Molduga , I hope Jalhalla will return as a world boss in a dlc or future game.
Okay I was *NOT* expecting the first phase of Gandondorf's boss theme to go that hard. Sounds straight out of a samurai movie. The second phase's theme is cool too I guess, but holy SHIT does phase 1 have it beat.

It's so cool how they gave Gleeok an elemental combo for as a 4th variant. Hopefully eventual DLC will add more of it, and not just some stronger variants, like gold enemies (although gold Lynels... should return).
TIP : If you wanna win the Lynel Colosseum you can shoot its face when its about to make a explosion so you can mount it and hit with your weapon multiple times, including being able to shoot its head 3 times

I do wish more Zelda games would give the bosses who aren’t the main antagonists more personality and actual lines. I am really getting tired of how most dungeon bosses never seem to speak or have personality.
I fought Kohga first in this game. I only had a few weapons and 4 hearts, so it was actually pretty hard. It was like playing a dragon ball game where Mister Satan can kick your butt 😆

not sure why anyone thought that when he clearly showed throughout his fight that he was capable of just floating... and teleporting if anything the deeper the hole the better, gives him more time to stop just freaking out and actually use his frankly OP abilities (like seriously, if he wasn't so utterly incompetant Kohga would probably be one of the more powerful characters in the game)

My personal theory is that they cut stuff from the original game for this to focus on developing botw base gameplay at its best
I very much preferred to have all the blights as the final boss, made the ending way more fun/hard/impactful.
