08 bmw 328i customer had fuel pump replaced in another shop. complait only fill less than half tank. did some resurch and found your video. your right on brother. hose was off. save me time. thank you
Thanks a million I replaced the fuel pump and I couldn't find that hose. So I figured there wasn't one there! I knew it was wrong when I put it back together!🤷🏼♂️😊
hmm i replaced my n51 fuel pump a few months ago and a few days after i encountered this exact problem, i just took a dive into it again today and the hose was plugged in??
It could be on the other end, I just did that and my car had the hose plugged in, but looking inside the hose, I noticed that it is dry. So I assume is the other end that got disconnected, which is the drivers side where in the 328i E90 2010 N51 SULEV ENGINE we Dont have access to. It sucks.
I've been having a similar issue with my 2010 328i sulev where I can refuel past half or maybe the tank is full but only ready half? , so after watching this video, I decided to take a look and to my surprise, the hose is not plugged in. I looked and "felt" around the tank as much as I could but no luck finding the other end (inside the tank). Are all sulev's supposed to have this?
Quick update…. I was able to find the house and after plugging it back I am now able to fill up the tank 🙂 Thank you so much for uploading this man!!! You just made my day!! It saved me so much time/money as i was going to buy another gas tank 👎🏻
So I did that to my car and that hose is connected, but it looks dry and it got like dried up white kinda powder from the gas. So I’m assuming it might disconnect on the other end, since the drivers side we don’t have access, does anyone know how to get access to that? Or do I have to change the whole fuel tank just because of that? Everything happened after I hit a curb with my car, it’s showing half tank , I assume it got disconnected.
@@ofduffman7674 the fuel pump seal wasn’t seated properly and the hose wasn’t connected just like the video . I had to reach in and find the hose, do it on a empty tank .
I had the same issue on my 300 and all any1 would tell me is that my sender was bad or I need a new gauge , but I replaced the sender 2 times 😂. “I’ll do it myself”
This is a horrible vid. Learn some camera discipline, and write a storyboard before starting, so you actually know what to say. Flipping things around, shaking the camera the whole time, and saying things like, "Oh, I really don't know..." aren't what people need or want when they come to your vids. This isn't meant to be mean or offensive, but educational. Get it right.
Stev A, you need a drink or get laid.... relax alittle, i would hate to be your neighbor.... If didnt like the video then dont watch it, take your BMW to the dealer and pay full labor price!....I loved the video!!! 👍👍
That’s what I’m yelling, do your own dang video I understood it perfectly and smart enough to fill in the gaps where you might not understand. Losers do not apply.
Four years later and you are still saving people a headache and money. Great info.
Glad to hear that

Mine looks dry too, so what now? Do I have to drop the gas tank? Did you solve it? @@mattporto4530
Is this only for XDrive BMW’s or could this also be an issue for a 09 328i?

A little safety issue,
No battery operated tools allow
You can set your vehicle on fire.

Thank you s I r.
Bruh I wish it was this and not my fuel pressure regulator

I understand you are trying to help but little things you are saying come of as offensive, change your tone and attitude when you type “get it right”.

You may just have a low iq this type of repair isn’t for someone who has the patience of a toddler
