JR's visits to Knots Landing were always superb! And the icy but fearful loathing Valene has for him always brilliantly played out.

“Aren’t ya gonna give your favorite brother-in-law a big kiss?”
Ha! Valene would just as soon have given him a kunckle sandwich and a kick to the balls! Her “you gotta be shittin’ me” facial expression was priceless! 😂

I heard in real life Joan Van Ark and Larry Hagman were really good friends. So much fun history. Joan guest starred on Cannon as did the Late Jim Davis (RIP). Ted Shackleford played Ray Gordon on Another World and Larry played Ed Gibson on it's Sister Show The Edge Of Night. Patrick Duffy played Stephen Logan on The Bold & The Beautiful and guest starred on The Fosters that Joanna Johnson Executive Produced who played Caroline/Karen Spencer Forrester on The Bold & The Beautiful.
