Fried green tomatoes. 🤤 Staple of growing up in the South. I’ve never actually made them, though! I’d love to know how yours turn out. Your bolero turned out so cute! Great job! Also, happy birthday, sweet Dana. I hope it was a special day. 🌻 💕 🧶
I don't eat fried good but in the Summer I do eat fried green tomatoes!! I have an outstanding batter to fry them in if you want it!! It is very simple!! I'm glad you enjoyed the live! OMG the sunflowers!!

@JessRodriguez1111 What I do is, I just season some plain flour, dip the tomatoes in that, then mix some egg and buttermilk, dip in that, then I like using Zatarains fish fry meal, dip in that then fry them about 5-6 min. Now I hate buttermilk, but trust me, it makes these so good. And you can use and type of cornmeal or fish fry- chicken fry type meal from the store. Make sure to mix the egg and buttermilk up really good.

Love fried green tomatoes. I do them in the air fryer and it works great. Another thing I do is I put them in the oven, after frying them, and melt fresh mozzarella cheese on it and spoon spicy marina sauce on it prior to serving. I had them served that way while on vacation in North Carolina. They are delicious.

I totaly get your point about shiping out of the States is very expensive, I am living in Hungary, and seeing shiping prices can match the actual cost of the item if I order from the States is crazy. What pattern did you use for the bolero? Or just sorta free style-- the assembly seemed pretty straightforward. I think I can free style one… I really like how it turned out!
