Congrats on 20k!! (Now almost 21k!) I think all of the colors you got will work well for pumpkins and there will be something for everyone. I also switched to yarning under recently (actually a combo, I yarn under then yarn over) and I really love how the stitches come out, especially for amigurumi. It's tough to break that muscle memory at first, but now I can't remember crocheting any other way! -Spencer

Hey Dana Congrats on 20k! The whale is uber cute! I started putting out pumpkins at my markets end of August. I normally use LB wool ease its gives a nice texture with different stitches and works up fast. All the colors you showed ive used except the dark grey and toasted almond. This year I went a different route in addition LB wool ease succulent being a fav) Im using velvet yarns for my pumpkins The colors are pewter ,jade, aubergine, mauve, golden yellow, icy blue- a little tricky to work with but so sott.

Hey Dana, love you so much. I had an idea for your mermaid tapestry you could hang it above your yarn storage like you said and move those shelves to where you’ve hung at your knitting needles, like to the side of them above your lamp and you can put bowls/cups on those shelves to store your crochet hooks and maybe sewing needles and stitch markers things like that. I feel like that would be cute and make those shelves a little more “useful” instead of filler. But yeah congrats on the 20k 😊

I recommend Lion Brand's another yarn called Hue and Me. This yarn has an old-fashioned, fall-feeling color if you don't like too "bright" orange. Sometimes, a little dim at home helps me relax.

I am by noooooo means an experienced knitter but I could possibly make some videos on how I cast on and knit and purl stitch! if you’re interested and think we learn in a similar way. I used wool and the gangs tutorials on RUclips. I found them really simple to follow and very easy for me to pick up! Just in case you want something in the meantime before I can get around to making a video😊

You could use the Sea Tweed blanket yarn to make "denim" pumpkins. It's not the same color palette as the Wooleze yarn, though.

I recommend Lion Brand's another yarn called Hue and Me. This yarn has an old-fashioned, fall-feeling color if you don't like too "bright" orange. Sometimes, a little dim at home helps me relax.

Would you make a knitting tutorial basics?? I reallllyyyy want to learn but no one has been able to teach me yet and I feel we learn the same way!
I am by noooooo means an experienced knitter but I could possibly make some videos on how I cast on and knit and purl stitch! if you’re interested and think we learn in a similar way. I used wool and the gangs tutorials on RUclips. I found them really simple to follow and very easy for me to pick up! Just in case you want something in the meantime before I can get around to making a video😊
