Nice video. I read several of the comments, and it seems many don’t understand grading and its impact on coin values. Nor do they seem to understand that “a few blemishes” will result in a lower grade. If someone finds an Ohio quarter in change, there is no way it’s going to grade MS69 or MS70. A lot of the commenters have high hopes, but they are going to be disappointed to learn that their perfect coin is actually an MS62 (or lower).
As l've mentioned, When the state quarter series began in 1999, l put all the quarters in the big map big this the book was filled. The quarters l have are all perfect or near perfect condition.

About two weeks ago while coin roll hunting quarters, I was given by the bank, a whole roll, never been circulated 2002P Ohio's Not a scratch nor blemish on a single one... Most of them I stored away, the others I gave to a few friends of mine. I thought that it was kinda neat to get such an awesome roll from the bank. Now I am glad I kept them...
Should have left them in the roll it would have been 100x more valuable

I have INDIANA 1816 D.
WOW! I have put many back into circulation because I already had a few sets filled. I will have to pay closer attention and save ALL coins that are in 'perfect' shape.
I am really impressed I know that it would work something someday but I didn't know it would be now and I am a collector of those quarters I have five full books of the 50 states quarters not bad thank you sir.

That Indiana is pretty cool I've never seen that coin and I've been looking hey coin since about 2 months ago go when I found your Channel like I've always said any coin or a note worth more than a normal price is amazing $4,025 for a quarter I will be looking when I get off work tonight see you guys Wednesday

Thanks for this video. I got an Ohio quarter like brand new in change a couple of weeks ago. I didn't realize it was a Denver mint until l saw this video and checked.
What did you do with it? Unless it’s in mint condition it’s only worth like $13 right?
Sophia Himlin, I still have it. The price listed in this video was what the quarter sold for at an auction. You may still be able to get state quarters at banks.
@@sophiehimlin6722Oh, You mentioned $13 dollars. You can buy a coin price book. Check on line if a coin shop is near you. A shop that has magazines may also sell it. The book lists current prizes of coins based on year, condition and rarity.
So how do you know if you have the right quaters? Also who says they're worth said money? I have a few that meet these standards and would like to have them checked out. Where should I go or send them?

Mine has been kept in the Washington quarters album outside of a couple of very small blemishes it looksperfect should I get these quarters that I've been keeping for all these years that are in great condition sent off? We have four books
Both the Indiana and Ohio state quarters are pretty cool I have found them both in my pocket change recently but of poor quality The 2002 Quartershave some value but they’re really not all that special relatively
I think I'm an idiot for passing up some very very nice Ohio and Indiana state quarters in the recent past! Wow I can't turn back time so I guess I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for those again! Bummer because I am very impressed with the prices! Thanks so much!

Guys, I have been with you almost from the start, but this is not worth your effort. Most of us know, the chance of getting a 69 is slim to none. Plus unless we send in hundreds of coins we will not receive anything more than 66 tops. It would be a waste of good money, to send these off as I have. Rick

Hi jb I found a 1960 penny that is silver and copper and a 1955 wheat penny with half of a silver fine on the reverse side also I found a copper or brass nickel

I have one thats painted like it was made painted but the paint is already coming off so the paint doesnt look good i dont know if that messes with the grade
i fund a indiana quarter struck on a forien planchet or a penny is to see features are worn i think the planchet kept it from having strong features
I got an Ohio d quarter a couple of years ago in change in high grade. About a Ms 66 or 67. I opened a small jar today to check out some bicentennial quarters l put in there from years back. There was a few other coins, including a Ohio d coin. I didn't remember l.put it in the jar, or that it was in such great condition. I believe it could grade a Ms69. Maybe perfect.
Send it off to PCGS or NGC to see how it grades. If it’s MS69, it will be well worth the expense.
@@samg2620 Thanks .l took another look with a magnifying glass it's closer to a MS 66 than a 69. The other Ohio d quarter l mentioned l got in change, is probably a MS 67 or 68. That's worth getting graded.

Please could you tell me if you hold a indiana quarter between your thumb and first finger... so you have the head facing you the right way up.... how should the back look if you turn it between your fingers should the reverse be the right way up same as the front or would it be upside down please.
One turn, should be right side up.Sideways turn will be upside down.Mostly U.S. coins.

Yes,Unc. Mint sets from 05-10 had the satin finish quarters.Some eventually wind up in circulation.
