My dad is 70 and he loves your channel. I came here bc I started looking at coins with my dad . This was an awesome video. I’m verry new at this and this was just an awesome tip to looking at quarters. Thank you for your time and information.

I catch myself looking for wheaties. Surprising quite a few out there. 78 year old wheatie today. I remember as a kid finding a 1909 which was only 60 years old.
Hey Shawn, I've been searching for error coins for many years. I still have a difficult time differentiating between a double die and a hub double. But I'm learning. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing videos on these different types of errors. I have watched many of your videos and you are my favorite error coin RUclipsr. Plus you sound cute....so that's a plus!
I have a 1967 no mint mark double die obverse/reverse. Call me with a offer?? Its in condition. I'm starting myself. I don't have it graded yet but I'm told its easy ms64-65
Wow thank you for sharing this ive been collecting these coins for my grand kids and I never even thought of looking at them like that and I have like bags of these wow now I'm going to have to go back threw them hahaha just awsome!!
I've been collecting coins 26 plus years and I've come across silver coins but never have I found any error coins or any W quarters yet. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy to get a silver half, silver quarter, or a silver dime from time to time, but I want a W quarter dang it....lol....Looks like I'm going to have to buy me some. I've held off and held off. What do my coin collecting friends say, wait or go on and buy? Thank you all for listening to me and thank you all that does respond
Where are you located as in which Fed District's jurisdiction do you get change. I'm a relatively new collector and have several w quarters I've found in circulation. I'm always looking for more too. That's so easy to spot for a newbie Ithought everyone who hunts change had some.
I get there man I coin roll in Minnesota and I was looking for a couple months and didn't find W's not buying a huge amount mostly like 50 60 or $70 at one time of quarters, and just two days ago I found my first w so they are out there. In that same bunch I also found an 84 Philadelphia that's a error because the I in "in God we trust" is missing and the third part of the end is missing.
2nd time watching this because of the quarter W which I'm not finding at all. Still a great video to learn from. I do check rotations. I'm getting very, very tired of looking through quarters and finding old ones that I have a bag now to use the scope. Thanks again for being here for us. Have a great weekend. ; D
Hang in there man! I clean roll hunt in Minnesota and I bought a couple days ago just $70 worth of quarters and I found one 2020 w which is my very first w I've been looking for that for a little while too since I learned about it and I found an 84 Philly quarter that has the I in the in God we trust missing and a third of the N missing so that is probably an error too
I've gone through what seems like several billion dollars worth of quarters and don't remember coming across a nice rotated state quarter. I've found some pretty spectacular rotated nickels though. Also, you should make a video about sintered coins. I don't know whether to like them or hate them.
This is GREAT info!! I've tried to purchase the book Cherrypickers Guide, but I can't find it for less than $200 to $300 it's insane!! Have a GREAT Day!!!
Dear Shaun. What does the State quarter weigh ? Stinkin Thinkin about this. Thank YOU for this video . And yes...look at both sides. EXCELLENT JOB ⚘🐕🐆🐈🐈🐃
Expressing appreciation of your presentation.. Anyway after relooking carefully of my coins(1973 & 1980) quaters, I notice two errors on 1973 coin... 1. The word Dollar appears from direct look spelt like Lollar and not Dollar.. 2. The end of ponytail of George Washington has no mark like 1980 coin with letters P, D or a Dot. Please advise if the 1973 coin is of any value. I'm from Papua New Guinea and will try and take photo of the coin with a proper camera. My mobile phone photo don't appear properly... Looking forward for a reply. God bless
Could you do a video showing how to mail MS coins so they don’t get damaged in shipping and handling please? I’m a little worried about shipping my high grade coins for grading.
I purchased $1,000 in Connecticut quarters from both mints when they were first released directly from the bank in original bank roll why because the design was so intricate and lovely.. that means I have over 4,000 of these coins times two how much might they be worth today? Now the next problem is finding a buyer
Every time I watch one of your videos, I feel hopeful that I will find something good. Just finished my 2nd box of quarters in 2 weeks. I didn’t find any Rotated die errors. I did find one silver, one gold Colorado state quarter, a breast cancer awareness coin, one clipped planchet, a pooping horse error and an Arizona extra cactus leaf error. The box was dated January, I didn’t find any West Point quarters. I set aside $10 in 1965 quarters to check for DDO’s and a few NM quarters to check for DDR’s with my microscope.
I found a 1999 Connecticut State Quarter Dollar that I believe could be one of the coins everyone is looking for. Reach out if you are interested in seeing this gem.
NGC and PCGS are the only 2 graders recognized by collectors. Take a picture of both sides of the coin before you send it. I had them swap out 8 of my 1879-1891 seated liberty half dollars in high grade for junk. They said do you have pictures? 🖕🖕 30,000$ loss. NGC was the Thiefs!
Yes you can even trade them for new rolls if you'd like as long as you have a bank account some banks won't let you unless you have an account with them

I have this 25 cents coin from Connecticut but in the whole coin is the double Die is already certified but PCGS certified it badly and paid very well for the certificate. I don't know how much I can sell it.
I have gone through 2 $10 rolls of quarters and every state quarter in those rolls is either partially rotated or 180 degree rotated. I have aproximately 15 to 20 such from 2 rolls
@@joecloud9167 I have not come a s carolina one but have a n carolina one. On these 2 rolls of quarters almost all are 180 rotated. All have some degree of rotation.
