This was one of my first ps2 games. It was ridiculously hard especially that base escape sequence. You're gonna put the player on the clock with these controls!?
the sound from the controller is even worse than just a gimmick because the sound quality is so so much worse than just going through the tv or a soundsystem
In defense of the speaker on the controller, it was a magically effective gimmick in LOTR Shadow of Mordor, where it made a scabbard sound when drawing a sword. Also, (unless I’m thinking of the DS), there was a game where you hold it to your ear for phone calls, which was Nintendo-like goofy fun. What game was that?
I know nothing about this remaster but I absolutely loved the original when it first came out and I replayed it multiple times-an absolute classic game with a beautiful and original story which completely captured the Star Wars spirit. I hated the controls and camera but that was part of it’s character. Looking forward to getting this for the newer consoles🍻🔥
i don’t play video games really anymore but if they make an open world elder scrolls star wars game where i get to customize my character that’d go crazy
Don't forget the game also essentially came with a free graphic novel. The collectables you have to hunt for in each level reveal my favorite Star Wars comic book Star Wars: Jango Fett: Open Seasons, which further explores Jango's backstory and confirms him as a Mandalorian. Back when easter eggs and collectables were more than just things you have to collect for an achievement.
I played this so much when it came out on ps2. I beat it several times and man, I was obsessed. Being able to collect bounties with the scanner was so freaking cool.
I beat the full game on PS2, and I beat the PS4 remastered copy. Yes the controls are buggy, but after you get use to the game, it’s just a lot of button spamming.
Why do these stupid companies always feel the need to "Special Edition" everything? Can't we just get a basic port that keeps the original game as it was. Not everybody got to experience it when it came out, and I want to be able to still get that experience, not what some middleman thought might be a slight improvement as an excuse to sell more copies.
I had/have the game on GameCube where the shoot button for the dual pistols was the big "A" button. I was able to mash it super fast that the blasts either looked like a full on machine gun or a straight beam that would melt through enemies and bosses
I played this as the original on PS2 back in the day, I still reference it as one of the best Star Wars story games out there. I'm considering buying it when it goes on sale to re-live some of that nostalgia.

I’m so glad the controls are being modernized. I used to play the PS2 version all the time.
2 views, 1 min? bro fell off
I know, pathetic. Image pressing the post button without a 10 view count while its buffering😂
npc
Actual npc
Has over 2K views less than an hour after the videos release, so not really 😂
*sniff* I smell a bot
In defense of the speaker on the controller, it was a magically effective gimmick in LOTR Shadow of Mordor, where it made a scabbard sound when drawing a sword. Also, (unless I’m thinking of the DS), there was a game where you hold it to your ear for phone calls, which was Nintendo-like goofy fun. What game was that?
“A few years back” Dude. It was rereleased on ps4 in 2015. That’s almost a decade ago.
That bando gora moon of the dead gave me the creeps as a kid and inside that temple too..
All i wish for is a new star wars bounty hunter game, imagine customizing your own bounty hunter, would be awesome imo
I beat the full game on PS2, and I beat the PS4 remastered copy. Yes the controls are buggy, but after you get use to the game, it’s just a lot of button spamming.
Still criminal star wars 1313 was cancelled
On GameCube, the shoot button was A, I felt like a god when spamming it
I’d actually played this game growing up.
I liked that shoot was mapped to square. Meant you could shoot super fast
Let’s not forget what happened with Battlefront classic collection.
One ok game out of a ton of good ports.
We can also not forget the other ports they've done, both SW and otherwise. There's issues sure but I'd argue more hits than misses.
@@bleppyboonot Jedi Knight 2 they screwed that up badly arguably on par with kotor.
Or Jedi Knight games aspyr ported
Why do these stupid companies always feel the need to "Special Edition" everything? Can't we just get a basic port that keeps the original game as it was. Not everybody got to experience it when it came out, and I want to be able to still get that experience, not what some middleman thought might be a slight improvement as an excuse to sell more copies.
I had/have the game on GameCube where the shoot button for the dual pistols was the big "A" button. I was able to mash it super fast that the blasts either looked like a full on machine gun or a straight beam that would melt through enemies and bosses
I always found it disappointing they never made komari vosa canon. Such an underrated character
is she not canon because as far as i know Bounty Hunter is canon or was before Disney ruined stuff now i don’t know about its canon status
@@technodude458 sadly not, ventress essentially took her spot and was dooku’s apprentice instead of vosa. It was definitely canon before Disney.
he always had his jetpack, just momentarily lost it in the intro.
I played this as the original on PS2 back in the day, I still reference it as one of the best Star Wars story games out there. I'm considering buying it when it goes on sale to re-live some of that nostalgia.
@Bombastic , I love how they’re remaking this game. I’ve been waiting for this for so long . I beat the game originally on the PS2 and I’m just saying for all the fans out there you should finish bounty Hunter, those videos you were doing. Top tier
Somehow I only found out about this yesterday. I watched the trailer at work, an hour later I bought it. This is hands down my most influential, cherished SW games of my childhood. All the others mentioned were very good and very high on my list.....but this one.....oh man. This one ALWAYS took the cake for me.
