At the risk of sounding implausible (after just minutes ago posting about our similar timelines), let me tell you that my coming out as a bisexual at age 28 accompanied my developing a fictional character for a novel I self-published. Her name was Kera McLain and the book, called _Out From It All,_ combines space sci-fi and lesbian separatism (space is popular today, separatism in the '60s and '70s, but neither very in vogue when I wrote the book in the late 1980s). Oh, and I have grappled with people-pleaser syndrome. The synchronicities continue.
Awesome video! I totally agree that writing fictional characters can help a person explore different parts of themselves! I wrote a bi character for a short story of mine, once.😁😀
This video has me getting excited for the show! Great to hear that across the board representation makes a huge difference, including and maybe even more so for those writing and playing characters! ❤️
That’s a great way to put it, Michelle! I hadn’t even really thought of it in that way, but it’s so true. Thank you for watching! I’m excited for the show too 😁
Thank you for the advice. I'm living for some time with a question regarding my sexuality... Am I Bi? I'm in happy marriage with a man and hope to stay that way till the end of my life. But I still have this question in me. I'm not sure yet if I really need to answer it. But I will try to write something, maybe it will clear my mind...
🎶 “life in the cityyy!” 🎵 was a fantastic interjection that really made me laugh. So interested in the show & looooveee the clip!! Would really love to watch more - when & where will it be available to stream? my mom has said the exact same thing about me being liked my people... and it’s definitely not a good thing now looking back 🥲 but day by day I’m learning to assert myself & just do me
Haha! Thank you so much for watching Anna!! I’m not sure when it’ll be available, but the hope is before May! I’ll for sure keep you posted. Yeah - it took me a while to realize it wasn’t so great to be liked by everyone. It’s so hard to just be myself and not worry what people think but I’m getting there too. Let’s do it 💪🏼
@@jennicahill it helps to know there’s other people in the same boat!!! & you’re doing amazing ! Love all the projects you’ve got going & i’m here to support!!
So this is why I used to make OC after OC after OC, gotcha

See how it goes! Sometimes the question needs to just live unanswered for a while until you feel ready to answer it 💜
