What a generous and self-aware person. I've always loved Nicole but this is probably one of the best interviews I've ever seen. The questions were great and the answers were very gracious and thoughtful. Good job Nicole!
@sunnysheriff2742 you are really ridiculous 🙄. You continue to insert your comments trying to discredit Nicole Kidman-Urban and no one is taking you seriously. You really need to find a different focus. Or,just keep wasting your time. I won't waste my time responding to or reading your comments about Nicole or Keith ever again.
@@joysmall I hate to tell you joyless. What I say is true. A lot of the proof is right inder your nose if you didn't have it so far up the PR they spew, you might actually see it. I met Keith BEFORE Kiddy. I ran into him 12 days after that GDay event. Believe ME. He wasn't thinking about Kiddy that day. I guess you can wait for the book or check out the blog. Bye now. PLenty take me seriously. But they know.
I always appreciate when people speak on grief. We all go through it, we've all felt it. It's cathartic to talk about how hard it is to grieve loved ones who are gone.
I certainly don't know Nicole personally, but watching her in interviews over two decades, I see that she's a very kind and supportive person who is a bit shy and self-conscious. She has become a bit more confident about discussing her feelings and thoughts in recent years. She never is unkind or malicious. She is a wonderful woman and stands strong in her convictions.
She is an extremely emotionally intelligent and mature woman, and she is not afraid to explore new emotions via the roles she takes. She also has maintained the ability to stay curious through the years and I love that about her.
Thank you CBS for this extended interview. Nicole in all her interviews has shown such intelligence and understanding of herself and her role in the industry. For all the criticisms that she gets she is always graceful and hold on to her principles. Her family should be also credited for such a wonderful human being specially her parents. It was wise of her to have her own production company so she is not at the mercy of the bigwigs at her age. If I am given a choice between her movie or the younger actors, I will go with her. She is a very solid performer and wonderful woman.
Nic lies a lot especially about family and breakfast and pjs etc. She has "borrowed" the other woman in Keith's life since 2008, her stories and used them for PR for herself.
@sunnysheriff2742 where does your info come from? Niki Taylor? Apparently, Keith broke up with Niki in 04' and Niki had said positive things about Nicole. Nicole and Keith have been married since 06
@@tex959 I have known Keith since 2003. I don't need Niki or anyone to tell me. I know personally. Keith and I reconnected in February 2008. And have been very close ever since. The marriage means very little. He advertises her. Even her soft p*rn movie that made a mockery of her second PR name and "marriage". She wants a Hollyweirdo award.
@@tex959 Oh and Niki broke up with him. He signed their house in Brentwood over to her and she sold it. He had a tatoo for her until she married her current husband.
Love this interview. I always try to watch any movie/TV Show or project with her in it. I enjoy her performances. She is a gem- empathetic, caring and kind. 😀
"Bringing it forward, passing it on, your knowledge, your wisdom, share, be generous, help people grow. We only do better when we do that, and it's so gratifying, and I love that and it's so satisfying." N.K. And in turn, that is how you unconditionally love and care for yourself.
Hollywood, please take notes. This is an example of how to do an interview on a movie. Nicole is an exceptional actor, and person. She is such a professional, eloquent speaker, beautiful, etc. Wonderful advice for all to hear and learn from. Thank you for this exemplary interview with this wonderful woman. 😊
This is good stuff. Nicole Kidman is an active force for acknowledging women's stories being written and filmed. It's refreshing. Great interviewer putting her interviewee in a safe place to be herself.
24:11 Nicole Kidman is on her another peaks in her career and personal life. We could sense her energy and excitement. Not only to do her best in her movies, I found that she’s preparing herself to contribute her own experiences to others, including some new comers in the film industry. Bravo!❤ Keep up the good work.
Can we please stop talking women’s faces and bodies? She is an amazing person and actor! And seems like such a lovely person who is compassionate and caring. Kudos to her for surviving through the grief of losing her beloved mother. Even though our parents usually pre decease their children grief is so painful no matter how old you are.
Anyone who is even slightly a fan of Nicole's, or thinks that they know who she is, should listen to this interview. I have been a fan since she came to America. I try to watch, not only her films, but any interview she does. Usually, she's a bit shy about talking about herself. She seems much more comfortable talking about anything but herself. In this interview, I was really fascinated to see her willing to talk about herself and what she feels about some personal situations she's gone through and is going through. She's so much more than what you might think. I have even more appreciation and respect, if that's possible, than I believe I did before listening to her in this discussion. Words seems limiting to me to articulate what I am feeling after watching this rare type of discussion Nicole Kidman-Urban has in this.
Totally agree with you. I became a fan in 1995 when I saw her in "To Die For". 😊 I did see "Dead Calm" in 1989, but it was "To Die For" that made me a huge fan.
What a Beautiful, deep and rich interview. This my favorite interview I have ever seen on CBS Sunday Morning. Nicole Kidman is a gift to this world. Fantastic questions Tracy.
Nicole is due a 2nd Oscar. She gets better and better with age, just like Streep. Every new performance is must see. A great actress, and beautiful. She so deserved her AFI tribute. I'd love to see her do a new film with her best friend since they were teens Naomi Watts.
I fell in love with her as an actress when I saw her in "To Die For" at the movies in 1995. It's been 30 years and she is still one of my favorites. This was a really great interview. She's probably HSP (highly sensitive person).
She has so much readily available emotionally. Not just acting but also personally. I've always enjoyed Nicole since I first laid eyes on her in DEAD CALM. Ive seen every single one of her movies and even her commercials. Lovely, so so talented and also very grounded. I cannot begin to imagine the kind of parents she had growing up. Usually, not always but behind every Superstar are incredible or one incredible parent. Can you imagine having to be cut off from two of your children? She I believe can no longer have contact with them. I don't understand how a religion can do that to someone. It's unfathomable to me. Sorry, not wanting to be religious. I also believe that Nicole is Clairscentient.
Hmmm...this is one of my favorite interviews. I have always liked Nicole Kidman but not loved her...but after watching this I love her character as a human being having nothing to do with acting.
We don’t choose our families but we choose our friends and yes it takes time to keep the roof and then understand our own psychology And some never due
Shes seems normal in an abnormal industry. Some films i had to miss because of their content...that is personal choice. She is an very good actress and hope she finds roles that make her kids and family proud and nothing to be ashamed of. There is nothing better then been a moral guide and example to ones children.
Does Nicole ever NOT work??? She has so many projects constantly coming out. Listening to her so candidly reveal so much about herself so happily makes it obvious that she is just such a lovely INFJ personality type.
If roles are offered, and she has the desire, why not keep working, yet she has the dough to stop if she wanted. She is not on the social scene? Yet she is often in the news. She does takes care of herself, you can see that. Glad it worked out for her, and the rough go with TC. I love cozy socks and PJs too! Have too many! I am coming to NIcs house! Also 84 years young was her mom, mine (AUssie) mom was 83, no the grief stays with you, I still have it, and other loved ones pass, the hard part about getting older, losing those you love. You have wisdom, but pain however.
Please older women like Nicole & Demi STOP BOTOXING and talking about authenticity and loving yourself! The movies need older women who look their age!
Ever wonderful to listen to, Nicole is one of my favorite actors. It seems that her appearance has changed so much. She may have had recent eye work, which makes her unrecognizeable for me. She's still very beautiful, of course.
Never really liked Nicole Kidman until this interview. She needs to talk more to the media, she is very likeable. I think the whole Tom Cruise marriage stained my opinion of her, but no more.
She has a great laugh. I re-viewed Eyes Wide Shut the other night when she and Tom were much younger! She is younger than I and she is looking tired. Is she a smoker? She's getting that smoker's deep voice.
What a generous and self-aware person. I've always loved Nicole but this is probably one of the best interviews I've ever seen. The questions were great and the answers were very gracious and thoughtful. Good job Nicole!

What an incredible human soul. Honest and vulnerable….and for me the best actress alive.

OMG. This interview. So many layers. Nicole reminds me of my Mother. So generous, soft, and yet tough. Thank you to Nicole and Tracy.
Love Nicole ~ fabulous!!! Grief still comes and my mom died 43 years ago ~
These extended,unedited(semi)commercial-free interviews should be a hallmark of Sunday Morning's RUclips channel from this point forward.
She is a true artist! I love Nicole Kidman. She inspires me to create art.

The fillers, botox, and filter on the camera help immensely, don't you think?

Ever wonderful to listen to, Nicole is one of my favorite actors. It seems that her appearance has changed so much. She may have had recent eye work, which makes her unrecognizeable for me. She's still very beautiful, of course.
Her eyes do look different, but I notice she is wearing false lashes which she did not used to do.
She had a brow lift. She looks great!
She’s pushing 60. I hope she doesn’t have to fix her face too many times. I hope she grows older gracefully and naturally.
She’ll do it well
Super sad, we should all be grateful because not everyone is afforded a full life
i love this womaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn
The interviewer is in awe of Nicole lol
Harris Dickinson is truly an amazingly talented actor.
❤😢love
On of everything else she stopped the filler and whatever else and she looks so much prettier more natural!
Loved Anzacs
And keith urban calls her baby girl
She’s just an actor. A person like all of us. No big deal. Never understood the fascination with celebrity.
True
She is also a beautiful soul
And a very neurotic narcissist
Never really liked Nicole Kidman until this interview. She needs to talk more to the media, she is very likeable. I think the whole Tom Cruise marriage stained my opinion of her, but no more.
I still finding her a very neurotic narcissist
Why is it blur every time the camera is on Nicole?
Lighting...the light is tilted slightly towards interviewer
she doesn't seem to have a lot of questions or doubts Is that a good thing? Life is so mysterious to me
I got just the opposite from this interview
