It was financially burdensome, but we followed a tight budget and made it work. This was back when crimes against children were not as wide spread, today, I would not recommend anyone leave their child with anyone they absolutely could not fully trust. I had 2 girls from our church approach me and ask me if I would watch their babies, I was happy to do so for free just to know that these children were safe, and properly cared for. I now keep my grandchildren. A lot of people do not have these options, but we have to find ways of making sure the children today are safe.

I work at a daycare. We are all professionals with certifications, 1st aids, we have camera and inspections … It’s your due diligence as a parent to do your research about the place where you live your child and make sure you get an incident report for any minor mark on your kid. You can also read the inspections online. Many people just want the cheapest place and don’t even care to know the teacher’s name or what their kid did during the day. If the staff is happy, there isn’t a huge turnover and the kids are happy and the place is licensed and safe, there is little chance anything like that happens. I find it insulting as an ECE professional to assume that what happens in the video is common. I have witness one thing one day, and not remotely as bad, the boss saw it on camera and the girl was fired on the spot. I have reported several abuse happening in the house on the other end. So not all kids are safe at home. Where I agree is that , if the parents are good people, a child will get more personal attention at home. But the vast majority of ECE workers are dedicated and caring. Just don’t send your child to a cheap place with lots of staff turnover because it means the staff is paid minimum wage and the director won’t care as much about qualifications.

The Teacher was yelling and just being mean to these little kids. My son wasn’t accustom to being yelled at or talked to like that. Isn’t it heat breaking as a parent knowing we put our child in a position to be abused, When we’re thinking we’re doing just the opposite. I was so upset, my poor baby. The teachers MIGHT have broke the law but the Parents ABSOLUTELY broke the law by recording it without telling the teachers they were being recorded. I applaud the parents for doing it the teachers will get a free pass legally because it was illegally recorded, in order to bring charges against the teacher they will have to bring charges against the parents as well, as bad as that sucks it's the law plus it opens the parents, the daycare, the parent company and the now the News Station and it's owner.

I understand, but preschool can be a wonderful outlet and social environment for kids. Just read reviews, get references and actually call them, randomly show up to check on them (even prior to your child attending), do everything you can. There are some truly AMAZING caregivers out there and they will ENCOURAGE you to get all the info you need to feel comfortable. And trust your instincts! But don't deprive your child of a wonderful social experience just because of a few bad eggs. Stand in your power as a parent, don't live in fear.

I think in those times when there is so much violence towards kids and even adults we need things like this in place to be protected . So if situation like this happens even once, steps can be made to prevent further situations and giving those teachers mandatory interview with the headteacher or psychologist so they can understand what was the reason for behaviour so they can understand both if this behaviour is because she is burned out or if the person is truly evil or if there's any other reasons so they can make sure the kids are not in big danger but also help the teacher change the job or position if this is from burning out like giving office/desk job or only doing 1 class a day instead of doing full 8/10hours. And if the person is mad and truly means harm to kids then they should report her together with video proff . I definitely agree with the cameras with sound. Just week ago I saw video from kindergarten where 4/5yr olds had to watch trans woman in wig tweerking -however it is written in front of those kids faces teaching them how to do it ,while also talking to them about barbie pouch which is actually vagina term trans women use 😤😠. This was incredibly disturbing that childcare place would allow stuff like this ,poor kids had no clue what is happening and we're sitting with open jaws and empty eyes 😳 they literally allowed indoctrination of those kids with lies and adult content ,it's disturbing what they do in public school services and when parents ask what they teach their kids they are being sued just for wanting to find out . I'm so happy I don't live in US and that I was born and raised untill 10 in Poland if I think about all those things kids go through now in schools and kindergarten I consider myself very lucky that the places I've been to were great caring with so many great activities outside and in classes and food was healthy and tasty with actually 3 meals during dinner we had first healthy soup then potatoes with other things like meat and salad and then desert with home made chocolate and bananas or jelly we even had piano and few days a week out favorite piano guy would come and we would play certain group games singing while he would play and sing with us 😅😊

I feel so bad for people who HAVE to do daycare. This is my biggest fear: Trusting my baby in the hands of abusers. A lot of people think you have to watch out for men. But it's everyone. Women and children too! And you never really know how someone is treating your child. This was so smart. I'm glad this mother exposed these nasty women. Praying they have charges brought up against them 🙏

This is what corporate run day care centers hire. Mostly welfare recipients who are driven into the workforce so as not to "lose they benefits". They don't want to be there, and they take it out on your kids. Meanwhile, the daycare rakes in big bucks. It's actually dangerous to leave your kids there.

There is a difference between a child care professional and a random person who gets hired because they filled out an application.
