    In the code, it describes the car as "The perfect car to get away from a crime scene", and the filename for the car is called "Killer Car", which to me further supplements the idea that we are indeed playing as William Afton and Midnight Motorist takes place the night Charlie died.

      I have NEVER heard of the the cars description as "the perfect car to get away from a crime scene". I think it's because there's this concept of "if it's too easy for us to figure out, then it's not right". FNaF fans have had to dig for small "clues" for a long time (see: Scott's website code) so they probably think they HAVE to go around doing that for everything else

    Maybe the reason William is mustard color in the minigame is because he’s only purple for children as, "What is seen in shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child."
    Henry made the Midnight Motorist game and programmed the way William looks, as the color of Springtrap.

    • @Wallmart5

    • @Raviness.
      @Raviness. 4 месяца назад +26

      To me the yellow either implies that either this is william before he completely lost himself (purple color representing him being exactly when he went full psycho/mad scientist) or that he was just drunk, or both (before he lost himself and started murdering kids left and right, and while he was drunk)
      And its also maybe the exact same day/night when Charlie was murdered. He got drunk and did the unthinkable then went recklessly driving until he got home. Maybe once he got sober after doing that is when we could assume that he 'became purple' basically (once he realised what he had done).

    • @vaultassassin

      I dont remember which but either spring bonnie or bonnie were created because of nightmares scott had, and im sure if he was to make such detail clear, he would make it more apparent.
      And another major reason as why it cant be the case, is that its heavily raining in midnight motorist. Everyone knows and remembers what happened to William when some water droplets made their way into the suit. Now imagine walking in that deadly trap of a suit in a storm.

      @@Raviness. It's likely the cloth version of the suit similar to Help Wanted. This would put the events after the multiple springlock failures and possibly the Bite of 83, since those costumes would be out of commission.

    I say he's yellow, because scott used purple for characters in shadows. We're playing as afton, so his body wouldnt be hidden, thus no purple. Scott had to use another color for him, and picked springbonnie yellow.
    Edit:Look, Why he choose Yellow over Purple Im not sure. Also not quite sure why Mike is purple, could have been a nice thematic thing scott wanted to do. I could senslessly argue further as to why Im right (already did that...) or I can admit I have no concrete reasons to why.

    Personally I think all 3 of pizzeria simulators major mini games were meant to show the origins for important characters. One being the puppets origin, another being for Springtrap (since we know Susie was the first MCI kid), so I think midnight motorist is maybe trying to give an origin for Michael? My best guess is maybe this is the moment he decides to investigate the Fazbear restaurants

      For midnight motorist I think it’s supposed to show how William treated his last remaining son. Because if not, we have no real view on how the Afton family was post bite/pre scoop. Honestly I think that’s a pretty integral thing to show, and helps builds William’s character in the games.

    Idk why people thought midnight motorist wasnt about the aftons. Pizzaria sim was rapping up the story. So why introduce a brand new family we've never seen before???
    Not just that but theres more supporting evidence that the minigame was about afton

    • @HeyLoiss
      @HeyLoiss 4 месяца назад +2

      Because the Missing Children have existed for FAR longer than the Afton family. The fact that the families of the Missing Kids were affected by the 5MCI is something that the franchise has stated all the way back in TSE (again, before the Afton family was even properly introduced). And given that FFPS is a game almost entirely about Henry's efforts to put the 5 Missing Children and the other victims, aka (Molten Freddy and the other robots) to rest, the idea that MM was about one of the kids, f.e. Gabriel, wasn't at all far-fetched. In fact, MM is one of the three minigames required to unlock the Lorekeeper ending, which shows us the graves of the 5 Missing Children and Charlotte, NO Afton family members

    • @_.incredible_magnum._291
      @_.incredible_magnum._291 4 месяца назад +8

      @@HeyLoiss yes, but the evidence around midnight motorist favors it being about Afton.
      From the game file being labeled "later that night" to the same purple car being seen after Charlotte Emily died. To the guy driving it being an orange or yellow sprite.
      Pizza simulator wasn't just about giving the dead victims rest. But was also about finally concluding the Afton story. So it wouldn't make sense to introduce a brand new family by using the same colors associated with Afton. On top of that, we've never been given any in game evidence that Afton used his suit outside the pizzeria. So the Freddy footprints outside the window were likely the crying child telling Michael it's him. And beaconing him to his grave.
      I like the theory that it isn't Afton. It's just that there isn't enough supporting evidence that theory is correct

      @@_.incredible_magnum._291 Maybe the minigame is called "later that night" because it's a continuation of "Midnight Motorist" It's later on the night that Midnight Motorist takes place because those are the two minigames that are connected.
      Also, if you believe that Toy Chica's High School Years are about Afton, then one of the stories lines up pretty well with Midnight Motorist. Chica talks about going to someone's house and breaking in, listing the window as an option. After UCN especially, it made sense to me that it was Afton luring away one of the MCI kids

    • @_.incredible_magnum._291
      @_.incredible_magnum._291 11 дней назад

      @fourstrings4164 there's more evidence supporting that this was about Afton. Fuhnaff noted that in the "later that night" section, it's raining. It is in fact the exact same graphic as the puppet mini game. So the two are connected.
      Then there's the fact that the car is purple and the sprite is a orangeish color maybe some kind if dirty gold. The colors of Afton.
      The chica stories aren't gonna be a 1:1. They're more like parables for what actually happened.
      Ask yourself this, how did Afton kidnap a child from their home in the rain.... IN A SPRINGLOCK SUIT ?!

      People debate what suit it is and that it must be important. They also say because Scott didn’t say what suit it was in the first Dawko interview that confirms that it must be important.
      I think Scott thought “wouldn’t it be cool to have a gameplay section where you’re trapped in a springlock suit and have to stop the springlocks from going off”
      So he put it in the game and the reason he doesn’t answer who the suit is, is because there isn’t an answer; he didn’t put any thought into which suit it would be.
      People always say “Scott doesn’t do meaningless Easter eggs” but Scott has never claimed that. That’s something that MatPat just said in one of his videos to validate a piece of evidence he used.

    I find it really funny that at this point in the franchise it’s “pretty reasonable” to assume that footprints in the dirt mean that “The dead younger sibling of the main character is possessing a golden robot made for a Chuck E Cheese restaurant parody and is calling out to his brother from the other side of a window to help him before they’re father represented by a mustered colored stick figure comes home and experiments on haunted metal to build murderous plastic clown robots some day.” When did this series get so insane?

      I completely agree with this take.
      We got the death order in HW2. Henry's line in 6 threw people off. I dont believe it was intended to imply that Charlie died first. Which wouldnt make a lot of sense. Why a security puppet if the MCI hadnt happened yet? In ultimate custom night he has Chica state she was the first as well.
      Scott confirmed the box was an abandoned plotline for C.C. Likely a robot body like in the books, but he didnt go through with that. Probably because William didnt live all that long after C.C died. 3 years at most. He died in 87 and was stuck until Fazbear Frights dude bros recovered him. Based on their lingo, it was definitely the 90s.
      Now we're getting confirmation that M.M was William. I feel this was clear from the begining but the colour really sent people for a loop.
      Things I would like to see cleared up;
      -Was Mike Afton the guard the whole time? FNAF 2 really messes with that theory because the check is dated 87 and Mike would be too young. Or was Mike the guard for 1,3,5,6 but we do play as the Bite of 87 guard in 2, as it is a prequel. When does Sister Location take place in all this? A definitive timeline would be nice. He doesnt need to spoon feed us all the lore but this has been confusing and I think hinders the story.
      -How many children did Afton kill? To me, it seems like 5. But Sister Location makes me doubt.
      I do honestly think Scott wants to move forward.with the games with Steel Wool but cant if all the previous games have confusing lore.

    Conclusive counterpoint to the Not-Afton house theory. Recently in Scott approved FNAF merch for the 10th anniversary we saw that CBEAR is underneath the Afton house as we see Mike's TV in the same location as it and that CBEAR is underneath FNAF 6 which was even confirmed back in Ruin where we directly went into CBEAR underneath the pizzaplex which this merch directly shows too. Also the rooms in CBEAR are directly connected to the bunker and not any houses as we saw in Dittophobia and are not near any other houses, this means the map of CBEAR is also a testing chamber and not a actual real place above it which may be implying that maybe JR'S is Fredbear's which is on top of the recreation of it, it's confusing but what we do know is that what we saw in FNAF 4 isn't reality. The Afton's have only ever likely had a single house & under it are experiment chambers made to test child subjects. Also a common misconception is that the FNAF 4 house is in a neighborhood. This is provably false. In FNAF 4's title screen we see that the Afton house is in a forest devoid of a lot of life & even in curse of Dreadbear & HW2 we see that the Afton house is not only near Fallfest & a massive lake which are both in secluded forests just like the map of Midnight Motorist in both the minigame and map.

    In fnaf 4 there’s a lot of hospital imagery, such as the flatline. Which is why people initially thought it was the Crying Child being tormented by the nightmares after being bitten. However, I think it can be explained by the hospital imagery being a part of the nightmare and not real, like Michael’s being tortured by flashbacks of when his brother was dying in hospital.

    Regarding Henry's "A wound first inflicted on me", if it doesn't refer to Charlie, then I think it could possibly refer to Crying Child. I've always suspected there's some kind of crossover between the Emilys and the Aftons, which would explain why William goes for Charlie, and in the film, travels across STATES to kidnap Garrett.
    My half-theory is that Mrs Afton left William for Henry, either taking CC, or William suspects that CC is actually Henry's kid and drives Mrs Afton away (Think of the "Clara, the baby isn't mine!" scenes from Immortal and the Restless). Either way, CC dies, which inflicts a wound on Henry, and then only gets worse when William decides to kill Charlotte, either to hurt Henry more, or as some twisted "If I can't have what is/should be mine" mindset.
    I should really hammer out my thoughts on this idea properly sometime, but I really think there HAS to be some kind of crossover between those two families.

Later that night, the fnaf 2 minigame and the Puppet minigame all have atleast 2 of these three elements each

  • @chiefswiggum
    @chiefswiggum 4 месяца назад +4

    My take on what happened:
    William killed Charlotte a bit after the death of his son because he wanted Henry to suffer in his pain with him.
    He drove down the highway on his way to the bar with a rush of adrenaline and a feeling he's never had before. (A good one.)
    He visited his son's grave on the way there to tell him that he got revenge for him, and that he's one step closer to putting him back together. (Psychopathic ulterior motives.)
    He got to the bar, parked, and tried to enter to celebrate his victory, but was stopped and told he couldn't come in because of something that happened. (Still don't know what that is.)
    So he just went home, reveling in what he just did. (The house consistency doesn't matter. There's 0 consistency in FNaF anyway.)
    He entered the house, feeling proud of himself.
    While on that rush of adrenaline, he decided to go confront Michael, whom he had been avoiding for several days since CC's death.
    Getting angry that he locked the door, he turned around to go sit down on the couch, but rethought to himself that it is his house and that nobody should be locking any doors, so he shouts this time.
    Still not having worked, he went out back to confront him through his window.
    Instead, he found that his son had escaped from the very same window his abusive father locked to keep him inside to escape to "That Place" again. (Presumably being Fredbears in my opinion.)
    Michael was led away by Golden Freddy/Fredbear/CC in possession of the animatronic. (For what reason, I have no idea.)
    !----Anything beyond this point is fanmade----!
    William then sat down on the couch, unusually relaxed since CC's death.
    Mrs. Afton asks him what's got him so happy, and William says it's all gonna be okay, not answering the question.
    She secretly saw a small blood stain on his shirt.
    That combined with his twisted smile and eager leg movement was enough to make her finally snap and want a divorce.
    Just a little extra thing I thought I'd throw in there. Hope you enjoy my theory.

    The problem with CC being the only spirit in Golden Freddy is that one child from the MCI is missing an animatronic. I don't believe that a child that was in a comma at their own house, under the watch of their family, could be lumped together in the same incident that involved 4 other kids being lured into a back room in a restaurant and killed. Even if William reported that CC was kidnapped, why would the police assume he was taken by the Freddy's killer, as opposed to a separate incident altogether? CC can't be the 5th missing kid. However, if the MCI has not happened yet in midnight motorist, then CC would be the only spirit in Golden Freddy at that point in time. So I have no problem with your theory overall, I just disagree that CC is the only spirit in Golden Freddy forever. Either he shares it with Cassidy, or he doesn't possess GF at all.

    We see in Happiest Day that Charlie's mask is the last to go down, implying she doesn't rest till after the others do first. Or at least that's an interpretation of it. We know from UCN that the Puppet is still "very aware". Implying that along with the Vengeful Spirit aka Golden Freddy, she is still around. The route between JR's and the House is nearly identical to the route between the Afton House and Fredbear's, so it's highly likely that JR's was repurposing the Fredbear's building. Plus, as FNaF 4's title screen and FNaF Help Wanted show, the (or at least, _an)_ Afton House is in the middle of the woods, so it's also very likely that this is indeed the Afton house. Newer games' details often override or take precedence over old ones, so I would place higher priority on the more realistically-rendered FNaF 4 title screen, the Help Wanted Dreadbear hub, and Midnight Motorist over the FNaF 4 minigames. Said FNaF 4 minigames also truncate space enough to effectively place Fredbear's Family Diner sharing a wall with the Afton House if you want to take that set entirely literally, which I find unlikely.
    3:16 Literally 90% of our understanding of the games' story is conjecture in the absence of concrete evidence, that doesn't make this point special.
    5:48 Lol, we appreciate honesty about the Glowing Teeth monster.

    I thought that the aspect of William coming back home after killing Charlie was the least important thing of discussion with the car, the weather and the name in the files but i guess here we are finally.
    The only thing that is still even debateable here is the identity of the runaway and the person infront of the TV which would basically spell out what is going on here.
    With every info that came out during that time pointing to wrap up the story with origins and endings for me it feels like it's depicting the crumbling Afton household post Bite of 83.
    Jr's seems like a generic bar that's alluding to a potential fall into alcoholism for William to underline his abusive father side.
    The mother is more a depressed husk than a working person; who can't reach out to her husband anymore and Michael is shown to be tormented by both his father and the guilt for CC's death with the ghostly aporiton of his brother leading him either to the graveside or the restaurant that turned into a fresh murder scene.
    No matter where he went to William's plans of putting him into the nightmare experiments starts here.

    Mabye the resturaunt is named JR's because Michael is Williams first born son (therefore the jr) and he's at the restaurant hiding from his father after visiting the dirt mound because he knows his father cant go in there.

    Honestly I think Elizabeth was buried in the dirt spot instead of the crying child. Crying child got bit at fredbears during the day and died in a hospital, people saw and knew about his death. Elizabeth died in a "gas leak", alone with no one to see. There'd be more reason for him to burry Elizabeth in an un-marked grave then cc.

    I'm somehow not totally conviced this is a confirmation though. These are licenced games and scott himself said in the latest dawko interview that he mostly just leaves them for themselves to make the games(as with into the pit). I feel that the purple car could easily have been added by some creator of five laps at freddies who headcanons that the yellow guy is william afton.
    Would not be suprised if this was changed or corrected in the future as you said.

    I understand why he was yellow in that minigame, but I still think it could have been done so much better. Like, add a purple shade on the edge or something. It would have looked cooler and everyone would still know who it is.

      They’re complementary colors, I think that was his attempt. It’s opposite the color wheel, a purple shade would make it brown

    One that makes sense too is that midnight motorist is actually that the minigame is the Night after CC died in the hospital, which leaves Michael as the only child left in the house. I believe Elizabeth Afton died first because of her empty room in the FNAF 4 minigames.

    7:03 a theory I saw (i believe brought up by rye toast) was that william kidnapped henry’s son, and that’s who the crying child is which explains “the baby isn’t mine” from the after hours fnaf show along with why there’s such a theme of william being a kidnapper, ALSO in the books henry DOES have a son (yes books =/= games but they’re similar !! )

  • @wythehecknaut

    My theory on what the purpose of this minigame is (at least the start) is showing how Purple Guy got the motive to kill, he got drunk and angry at Henry. Notice how he drives in the minigame, and how he swerves from car to car, and even driving against traffic, like a drunk person could do. This helps us understand how Purple Guy was able to bring himself to kill Henry’s daughter, thus leading down a lot of events

  • @EyeOrCoke

    William talks to the crying child as threw the Fredbear plushie. He acts like an apathetic friend since his better off being a friend than being a dad

  • @reneethefox4797
    @reneethefox4797 4 месяца назад

    Ironically, I think the thing Scott was trying to tell us with MM was also the thing that made it so hard to solve. Namely, that William doesn't have purple skin (unlike Michael post SL) and that William only appears that way in the shadows.

    I like this foundation building, good to get all the concrete evidence in order every once in a while.
    Plus, with Goldy having a knack for uttering "ITS ME" in his encounters, it'd make sense for him to be trying to reach out to his bro.
    I imagine that CC's death was the catalyst for Purple Guy to descend into his true impulses and slit Charlie's throat to knock Henry down a peg, thus lining up with Henry's own line of "A wound first inflicted on me". After that he does Fnaf4, the MCI, and inadvertently kills his daughter (Not necessarily in that order).
    Good theory overall, and good on you for admitting and moving past prior mistakes or changes in opinion, I respect it :)
