    So glad you have your dog back! Crazy city lady who thinks a dog is lost if it's not on a leash and in a small kennel. Grace is an awesome gift. You are a gentle loving soul for gifting it to her.

    Wow! The next thing you know they decide to rescue your truck from your driveway.
    We had a dog stolen stolen at our old place. It’s absolutely insane what goes through some people’s heads. You are rather generous with your description of this -good samaritan- ne’er-do-well.

    I worked with a local organization that rescued cats and dogs, then fostered them and held adoption fairs. I heard stories of people that felt justified in “liberating” poor abused animals from their yards. I believe it.

    Well....that was something. I don't understand how or why someone would do that. Why would anyone trespass on someones property?? Rescue groups can't trespass and must go through the proper chain of command to get to animals that are being abused. My husband said you were a lot more kind than he ever would have been. Amazing--Thanks for sharing. Oh...and whatever the family is going thru....my prayers for strength & courage.

    She was probably a city person. I LITERALLY have had college-educated people visit me from The City and ask me what was in the garden behind my house. Ummm, 120 acres of soy beans. Seriously. (I was living in a mobile home in my dad's bean field.) It's all relative I guess. Maybe she doesn't understand size and boundaries. Thank you for giving her grace, most people probably wound't have.

      Debbie Moore Debbie, I am a city person. I live in SW Minneapolis. I own a dog. I see families walking dogs all the time. We care for another and watch out for another. When we hear of a dog being snatched up, we sometimes say, “it’s probably a country person to use our little city dogs for breeding/fighting purposes”. You get the picture, don’t you?? This frightening horrible stuff happens everywhere to everyone.

      Maybe she was hoping for a reward, you know for returning a "lost dog" to its owner. Just seems a little too far fetched her story, then suddenly coming up on the fb group your wife's in, doesn't that seem just a little too coincidental? I wouldn't of been quite as nice myself, but all n all I'm happy you got your doggie back, that the most important thing.

    Wow. That lady WAS crazy! So relieved you got Pixel back though. I think there are lots of people who are obsessed with being a savior to the world these days. All ages too. Like you said, it's the world we live in now. Maybe you should put a sign on your gate saying "Beware of the Guard Dog." That should stop people from jumping your fence.

    This happen to my sister as well. We found my sister's Shetland on a local Facebook page too. The only difference is, the person who took her from my sister's yard pretended she found the dog down the road and wanted a reward. The cops got involved and my sister got her dog back and the cops dealt with the lady. It wasn't the first time that person had done this.

    I’m so happy you were able to get your dog back! And I will try not to rant too much on the topic of trespassing. It seems as though people today don’t understand “NO TRESPASSING!”. When I was a kid, you didn’t walk across your neighbors front yard to get from point A to point B just because it was shorter. And now I’ve got these hoodlum children that come over into my yard and tear it up, or they (AND THEIR PARENTS) let their dog loose (in a leash only area) and it bolts to escape them onto my property and chases my cows. There is a locked gate (along with multiple “no trespassing” signs) at the first cattleguard on our driveway. The parents in the neighboring area, not only let their children, but ENCOURAGE THEM, to jump my gate and let their dog chase my cows!?!?!?! I seriously just don’t get this!

    • @lucretiawrolstad3997
      @lucretiawrolstad3997 4 года назад

      @@official180degrees picking her up along the street or along the roadside would be one thing. then she might think it was abandoned but to hop over somebody's fence and snatch the dog and hop back over, that doesn't lend it to being an abandoned dog idea, just saying. I know you're trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. I think she figured she might have been seen, so she put it out there to cover herself as a good story.

Even though she gave you your dog back it still thievery! Yes she gave you her details to come & get your dog but she more than likely told you lies. You should report her to the police because a crazy lady who does it once can quite likely do it again. You should also have a hidden video camera viewing your gates entrance etc.... I'm so glad your dog wasn't stolen for dog fighting. I'm so glad you got your dog back. Please report her to the police the authorities & give them her details.

    Lucky you, that your dog was at the neighbors and not In someone’s dogfighting yard. That happens. In the country (in your yard) and in the city (in a small yard like mine). Glad you got your little sweetie back. Let’s try to remember that some people actually drop off pitties in the country who are not viable fighters. Your neighbor may have been truly kind to “rescue her”. Thanks for this particular video. It teaches. ❤️

    Maybe she recognized your front area and dog. And did it in hope that you would think it just went missing then she would miraculously have been the one to rescue it. And sponge off your you tube fame...
