      It's easy to dodge, 1st u need to avoid going near to its body while coiling for 2x, 2nd u should be near at it's tail or exit point of its body when it's ready to hit u with paralyze and 3rd is u need to do a Superman dive before u hit by it's paralyze bite... Actually if u master the Superman dive, you can evade any strong attack... Sorry for may grammar but hoping it will help u... 😅

      The thing I hate about Najarala is that for short reach weapons you have to focus on the little legs... Which are constantly moving...
      Either way, the usual Monster Hunter cycle of "This monster is impossible" > "I finally beat it!" > "This is so easy, what a carnage" applies.

    • @samuraibeluga3749
      @samuraibeluga3749 3 месяца назад

      you can easily recognize rotation patterns after a while, its not that difficult. it gets to a point you dont need paintballs at all. also another note the old gen games have a bigger emphasis on preparation, this is by design, if you forget an item, its on you the player, not the games fault. so be mad at yourself for not having the brain capacity to remember to bring one simple item that should be on automatic pilot to restock before every hunt XD with paintballs you could still have tracking, you could still follow a trail of both footprints or other clues along with the paint trail, wich canonically thats what paintballs do. you speak like paintballs couldnt be reworked to be more interesting that a light trail that leads you automatically to the monster.

    Love seeing Rise players going back and playing older styled games! (even if Generations Ultimate is insane with the different styles) I used to absolutely hate Najarala in 4U! Biggest thing for me was timing superman dives correctly, you can avoid basically all of the curling attacks with it, as well as running out, but that also requires timing as his body can knock you over when still in motion. Hope you enjoy the rest of the game and check out even more of the earlier games eventually, 4U is easily my favorite in the series!

    • @zennaxyl5480
      @zennaxyl5480 5 месяцев назад

      @absolute_nerdiance I love every game in the MH series, and they all have something unique to offer! 4U is a lot more focused than G or GU, with a lot less monsters due to it being a main entry and not a celebration type game, but all of the monsters are incredible and a lot of them can only be fought in this game! I think the biggest key difference though is the inclusion of the Frenzy virus, the status that the Gore Magala gives. Frenzy is a huuuuuge huuuuge gameplay mechanic in 4U that adds a really fun challenge to fights, and they later evolve on it with Apex monsters. I also generally just really enjoy armor designs and eeapon designs in the game, and love the end game G Rank quests. I think especially if you already own it, it's definitely worth checking out.

    • @zennaxyl5480
      @zennaxyl5480 5 месяцев назад

      @absolute_nerdiance sorry, I also wanted to add that combat in general is a lot slower? I guess that's how I'd put it, everything feels very meaningful, and while weapon movesets aren't always as expansive as in the newer titles, it offers an almost like strategic feel to the combat, instead of the over the top action of GU/World/Rise

      @@Hyperion20774u dont have many different monsters than GU, some sub species like blue kutku and tidal najarala, red khezu are there, frenzy is pretty much afflicted in sunbreak, apex is shittier afflicted requiring you to complete village story to unlock a drive to fight them, so you cant plow through hub quests.
      There are two novel giant monsters yet boring fight imo, the rest is pretty much the same. End game is similar with sunbreak but even more shittier if you're going pure solo, but its not gated by anything so you can join and acquire end game guild quest simply by joining others unlike sunbreak with AR level gated higher level of afflicted investigation quests.
      Gameplay is simply the same as guild style in GU or world,
      I dont care about story but many praise it.
      End game relic farminf is comparable or even shittier than world jewel farming.
      I think 4u is worth checking even after playing GU, frenzy mechanic doesnt make monsters longer to kill, its just you need to be more aggressive since its basically a dps check, and the consequences is even worse than afflicted imo,

    A tip for the monsters in the video, najaralas wrap attack can be easily avoided by using kinsect glaive to launch yourself out, the monkey monsters in general like to hang where you can’t hit them half the time so kinsect or ranged would help a lot, that pale gen 1 pile of crap no one likes but is needed for pale extract is super cheeseable with ranged as well, rock monsters as a whole are also cheeseable with kinsect sense you don’t tink off them if your mid air, as for garuga I would suggest the fetal position, anyone not familiar with him crying is somewhat mandatory.

      You don't need this gatekeeping mindset. Could have just think of "veteran" as in "played it for too long". It's in context.
      You didn't need to take it like "A very great hunter in Rise" kind of "veteran".
      Let's all just have fun.

    I see the problem, you’re using valor long sword, use adept long sword. You’ll be invincible cause the dodging actually works with adept.
    Rise does so much hand holding haha I don’t like that one at all, it doesn’t even feel like MH at all.
