  • Today we are here at Bribie Island exploring a new fishing spot. Bellara is a suburb just north of the bridge on Bribie Island and its mud and sand flats are filled with yabbie holes during low tide. To match the hatch we will be using the Daiwa Bait Junkie Risky Critter soft plastic mounted on a TT Headlockz jighead. Hopefully, this yabbie imitation lure can tempt some hungry fish and we can get a good fish on!

Hey mate, very interesting fish haha. I reckon it uses its snout to dig through loose sand and suck in its food. This is the second one I have caught 👍
I have tried micro shore jigging to some success. What micro jig would you recommend trying? Cheers 🍻

Slow your retrieve down/lower lifts and don't cast as far as you can out mate... Everything that eats your plastic is within 20m of shore

What size and weight of the jighead did you use?

Hey mate, thanks for watching and leaving a comment 👍 Each of my fishing setups are in the video description. In this video I used a TT headlockz 1/4oz 1/0h size jighead. But I reckon I could have gotten away with something lighter such as a 1/6oz because it was quite shallow.
