      I'm curious, what key? Do you drop it an octave to be in the "meat" of your voice, keep the octave, or go for a key somewhere in the middle?

    • @rap_sing_guitar_life3006
      @rap_sing_guitar_life3006 4 года назад +4

      Flyingferrets5 I sing it in the original key of E flat major, or that’s the key of the version we sung.

    I've known this song for a long time.
    We've learned it in our English class(in non-English speaking country, obviously).
    We've never been taught about the story behind it.
    Here's the story.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bonnie_Banks_o%27_Loch_Lomond
    The melody sounds sad but it's nothing compared to the lyrics(and the story behind it).

    Concert halls and venues should have ejection mechanisms installed in their chairs: 1st time someone coughs, a yellow light comes off; 2nd time, spectator flies off through the roof so they can continue to cough on Mars.

    A MOST TOUCHING PERFORMANCE. I DID NOT KNOW THAT IT WAS A CLASSIC PIECE BY RALPH VAUGHN WILLIAMS. I AM NOT ASHAMED TO THAT I GREW UP WITH THE BENNY GOODMAN / MARTHA TILTON VERSION THEREOF. A GREAT SWING BAND PLAYING THIS PIECE WILL TOUCH YOU. CLASSICAL COMPOSERS WROTE PIECES FOR GOODMAN. BELA BARTOK WAS ONE OF THEM.
