@screencrush did anyone happen to notice that in episode 3 of this season right around the 22:05 minute mark that it appears that the blood sample machine displays what looks like grand admiral thrawn on screen?
So no one's gonna mention that amazing trooper scream when the cloaked tk-trooper gets ejected from his tower by the ship's thrusters ? That shit was wihelm scream level xD
12:22 Those Ostrich-Like Creatures originally appeared in the Clone Wars series (S5E11: A Sunny Day in the Void). Also Omega releasing all the animals reminded me a bit of the ending of Guardians Vol. 3 & Fallen Kingdom
Exactly. As soon as I saw all of those animals, I knew that they were going to end up releasing all of the animals. No way they walk away from that, or at least not Omega.
I really have to compliment you on your videos. The detail is always spot on. And the fact that you get the video out within three or four hours of the episode, being aired, is nothing short of amazing.
I catch probably 95% of the Easter eggs you mention on my own, but I always watch screencrush right after so it's like you're enjoying right along with me.
Ryanarey, the ostrich-like animals you mentioned as a reference to the Gallimimus in Jurassic Park is a good reference, but they're not new. They were previously seen in the Clone Wars season 5 episode, "A Day in the Void" where a flock of these critters led WAC and Col. Gascom out of the desert.
@@hobbricks_lego_man I'd say that Crosshair's and Omega's themes dominate and are easily recognizable. It might hint on who survives in the end... I'm sure she lives but I'm not sure if he does. IF he dies, this will be a year of mourning for me, because he became my favourite character in all SW.
@@nastyfyme I wholeheartedly agree, Crosshair is probably the most morally complicated Star Wars character and one of my most personal favourites. I hope he doesn't meet his end this season, but if he does it's bound to be an honourable one.
I got a cool theory about how the show ends. The bad batch, along with Rex, Echo, Gregor, Wolf, and other clones attacks Wayland research station. After 1 of them are captured. Only for it beeing a part of their plan to get more help from the clones who are still in the mountain. The station is destroyed, and it leads to Palpatine to moving his cloning facility to Exogol setting up 9th movie. Bc I remember in the comics we see that Palpatine allready begun projects on Exogol by the early times of the Empire
The officer's accent wouldn't indicate high birth. It's more of a northern english accent which is more industrial working class. Actually looked down on by southerners often (nb I'm not English, this is just my impression from friends and visiting)
I assume you’re right, but I doubt everyone would know that. They hear anything remotely like the queen’s english and think fancy. Actually, I might go so far as to say most accents of West European origin are stereotypically seen as fancy or classy. Why? I guess it’s got that je ne sais quoi
My husband and I both noticed that it’s the moon of Riloth that Omega and Crosshair meet up with Hunter and Wrecker. Where they met Hera in season 1. It was a great callback.
Interesting note that scorch is credited as commander scorch, hopeful they use him more seeing as he seems to firmly be hemlocks personal second in command.
100% the fact Rex still alive and kicking shows his story turned out fine, saw the end of the Empire and Emperor(ish). Man done well all things considered
Liked seeing the TK troopers wearing winter gear and goggles. Reminds me of two trooper types from Solo, mud troopers (the type that Han was before deserting) and range troopers (the type that Han and co. fight during the train heist).
Poncho Tk trooper with googles reminds me of the swamp troopers that tearjerker final scene with omega , wrecker ,and hunter at one of rhyloth's moons almost got me didnt think we'd get a reunion this quickly but im so happy we did.
12:22 those tall lanky creatures you mention appear already in gregor's episode of the clone wars ("A Sunny Day In The Void" Season 5, Episode 11) in the planet called Abafar
The video wasn't linked, at least for me, so i spent a while trying to find it and i think its this one: Analyzing The Musical Storytelling Of Crosshair - The Bad Batch , by Hobbricks.
Ryan is still the GOAT when it comes to breakdowns, however, you miss translated some of the Aurebesh. At the 12:00 mark you had a translation of “Unlocking all cages.” The correct translation is actually, “Unlocking all cargo.” Too bad Babbel doesn’t offer Aurebesh 😂
Could be an earlier model of the Ghtroc freighter, doesn't look quite right, but has a lot of resemblance. Probably an earlier model, the original Ghtroc 720 model was first mentioned in the old canon in ABY 9 after all, so this could be one or several models earlier by that company.
Im surprised you didnt notice the lack of clones Compared to season 2, the tk troopers have fully replaced regular clone troopers, apart from the clone commando's
I think everyone noticed considering that’s what every single imperial character has been talking about and was the point of the entirety of the first two seasons
I think Ryan especially implied this when he says we’re finally transitioning into the imperial era, stormtroopers heavily occupying planets and the good guys wearing more rebel looking clothes
You mentioned the town reminisced of Batuu at the park, I heard the droid bartender say what sounds like "O-g-a" when he serves a drink. Could be an Easter egg for Oga's Cantina at Galaxy's Edge. Closed captions just say "alien language"
Great work as always! I always watch your videos after the episodes. Just wanted to quickly comment that Omega may not necessarily be Force sensitive per se. The M-Count in question may simply refer to an individual’s body’s capacity to be used for Force sensitive cloning. In The Phantom Menace we see Qui-Gon testing Anakin’s blood for midichlorians, as a high count would and does indicate a strong connection to the Force. But in this case, Palpatine is searching for individuals whose DNA would make them good vessels for Force sensitive cloning, which may not be the same thing. Seeing as how Tech once explained Omega is an exact female genetic copy of Jango Fett, who seemingly has no Force abilities (and Boba being a male version and the only other one), it may be that she has that one in a million capacity simply by chance. If simply being Force sensitive were all that is required for cloning purposes, it is doubtful that Palpatine would have a hard time finding a suitable match. Just my two cents, I may be completely wrong…
Great video, we already know the birds at minute 12:20 from Clon Wars Season 5, Episode 11. They are exactly the same. Unfortunately they don't have a name. And what kind of game is Omega playing in the bar? That's not Sabbac
Wow - that ship model is an incredible find! Knowing the technicals is a whole other beast within Star Wars. I often assume they just make something new each time, but it makes sense that they would try to use pre-existing models for time and continuity. Habrix? Habricks? Am I mishearing the name of the music analysis channel? Another great source is Star Wars Music Minute. SWMM is one of my favorites for indepth analysis of music and sound design. They take fairly complex technical music theory and break it down for everyone. Watching that channel has really expanded my enjoyment of Star Wars in general. I'm always down for a music analysis.
This is not only an episode to show how their contrast is to one another, it's also how they see each other's strengths vs their own weaknesses. Omega is looking for the non violent solution, cross hair the opposite.
The clip of Han is explaining what happens when you enter hyperspace without coordinates. When you suddenly exit, you can be torn apart, but the most likely case is drifting in empty space and running out of air.
I’m curious if there’s something up with Hemlock’s constant tick of rubbing his gloved hand, or if that’s just a fun personality quirk the animators gave him.
I think he experimented with his DNA, trying to become force sensitive, same way as he is doing to the clones. Both him and Crosshair do the exact same thing with their hands!
A small easter egg you may have missed is the clone security imperial trooper who got blown away by the engine's exhaust (sorry but it made it chuckle, dont know why) when Crosshair & Omega u blasted off in the space cargo shuttle to escape. It reminded me of that Bad Batch S1 or S2 episode where Crosshair head got fried because an old ship's engine was turned on.
Those Flamingo looking birds are from the "Sunny Day in the Void" episode of TCW. The one where the D-Squad crashes on the planet "Abafar" and later find Gregor working in the Diner.

As a fellow ship nerd, it's okay to have new ships. I'm really happy to have new Star Wars content because most of the time we get new spaceships. I don't think that cargo ship was something previously seen.
