Quick note. I'm including all of this info because when I was starting out, I found it really difficult to figure out what gear to use, so I'm hoping if there's anyone looking to set up for RUclips, this might help. If you need more help just email me, kev at coffeeblog.co.uk - if I don't know the answer I'll ask the professionals.
I'm listing the current setup first that the pros are using, and then my original more budget setup.

Interesting machine overview, thank you. I was looking at this when I ended up settling on the Niche zero grinder myself (SETTLING for the Niche 😂laughing at my poor choice of words and had to edit: I realize I DIDN'T truly settle) and your review makes me happy once again that I made the right decision. Low retention, low-mess, low waste and as others have said, a non abrasive sound were some of my top priorities beyond the obvious of being best grind for my money and ease of dialing in for a broad range of Brew methods. As always, thank you very much

I was one of the first to receive this… my comments are: 1. It cost me 250eur 2. the retention is minimal without using any spray water, you just need to wait 30s after grinding and tap it. 3. For the sound I agree but its not that bad.
When taking into consideration the huge price difference with Niche I believe the Arco is a win for me. Value for money and I make great espresso using flair58. both flair and arco grinder cost a total of 700eur.

Possibly a good choice if starting out to buy the manual version first then upgrade to electric later, if that’s possible.

It is possible. They also sell just the dock part.
