Sachtler aktiv14T Fluid Head | Hands on with Nick Dabas

The Sachtler aktiv14T fluid head touch-and-go plate has reliability, quickness, and trust for any camera. It really changes the game for me with not only time to capture more shots with its particular SpeedLevel technology but enables camera operators like myself, to mount, level, and lock the heads in seconds. My name is Nick Dabas, a NYC based DP, and needing a light yet fast run & gun tripod set is something valuable for me, given that the tripods in this category do not give me the quality that my larger system has given me, until this aktiv14T. Pretty amazed by this Sachtler fluid head that it really got me going out and shooting more just for fun capturing clips using my Alexa Mini LF because I know it's well supported.

That touch and go plate is so underrated in the industry, where most people just go with Manfrotto plates, constantly re-balancing their camera. With touch and go you know camera is back on the head as it was.

Hi Fareed I use my dana dolly with the new 100mm& 75mm made for the Aktiv heads really EZ mounts with 3 screws.
