Nice! Is the chevron going to be a new standard in the future or is the FDNY still testing it out on a few companies across the city?
The chevron?
The chevrons are the slanted lines on the front bumper and on both sides of the rear doorway.
Chevrons are a requirement for emergency vehicles now. So all new apparatus with FDNY including ambulances have chevrons to stay complaint with NFPA code.

Why r the doors on the back of the rig always open?
Why do they always leave the back door open?
Been like that for decades. Air flow for sure!
What was the call for
1st one for report of a Pin and 2nd for man under a train
