I really like the slightly slower flash pattern on the new rigs. Not only does it look great (to my unrepentant emergency-vehicle-geek self), but IMO it catches the eye more readily than the earlier high-frequency flicker pattern.
There are no seats in the rear compartment of the rescue rigs they are full of rescuing equipment and there is only room to stand up in a single file row. They also do go pretty fast quite often.
Had the pleasure in my career to cover as a Lt and Capt in Rescues 2,3 and 4 from 85 thru 95.

Just wondering why standing in the rigs no seatbelts guess they don’t go that fast. Won’t go on my dept
