Thank you for another great tutorial, Becca. I made one of these to go with a reading pillow. I put a buttonhole in the bookmark and a button on the pocket of the reading pillow to attach the bookmark when not in use.
I was hoping you would do this tutorial. You are such a good teacher. Just the right amount of relevant information delivered in such a way as to make a person excited about the project and really want to make it!!
Thank you, Becca! The interfacing makes all the difference! And the topstitching just on two sides, not the entire square, makes it fit on the book so nicely!
Very helpful, Becca, thank you! The corners of my calendar start curling up, using this to fix the problem sew simply and my Granddaughter is always asking for bookmarks.
Nice job. This is a good project to help me get my sewjo back after returning from my vaca. Thank you I needed this. So rainy out today, good day to sew.
Becca! I LOVE this and wanted to say "thank you" for posting such a great tutorial. I have a charm pack of Heather Givens' "Literary" fabric and this is the perfect way to use it!
Oh girl how did you know I was searching videos on how to make these fabric book marks. I have vowed this year to read more. I have so many books but never read. I also trying to read through the Bible this year.
I like that you top stitch opposite of the folded triangle on the edges so it does not restrict tge opening for the bookmark. I have seen others where they stitched all the way around and bookmark does not fit as nicely in the corner where book pages are inserted.
Super-great tutorial Becca. These would make really nice little gifts even though I personally read on an e-reader. Where did you get that awesome wood clapper.

Thank you for the information. I used your info and went and checked them out and I definitely will be ordering one. That is a great size for working on larger projects.
Love this video!!My diagonal does not evenly line up corner to corner. My sister is having the same problem - is it genetic or do you have a tip to help ours look as good as yours?
Without seeing your bookmark, I'm not sure I understand what's happened...or how you got there...so this may - or may not - be helpful! When you layer your fabrics together, make sure that the 'folded' fabric is perfectly lined up so that it STARTS in one corner and ENDS in one corner. And, if you need to keep it in place, use pins or clips!
Thank you for the directions on this bookmark. I can see where they can be addictive. Do you know where all the invitations came from last night to your community. Connection was not available but I must have gotten over 5 invitation. I think the invitation is blocked now.
Thank you thank you very much. I will be making some for Bible class or Sunday morning preaching when the pastor said turn to chapter 1 hold your finger there and turn to another chapter in the Bible. I will no longer have to keep my finger there my bookmark will be very very helpful. Thank you and bless you.

Oh girl how did you know I was searching videos on how to make these fabric book marks. I have vowed this year to read more. I have so many books but never read. I also trying to read through the Bible this year.
Apparently, I'm a mind reader!
That is so awesome to hear. What a great way to learn to make this bookmark, and to read your Bible.

I agree, too! I couldn't see why stitching on all 4 sides was required!
Thanks for the tutorial, these are awesome.
You're very welcome!
Sew cute. Thanks for sharing.

No, I bought it and recovered it. Maybe that's a topic for a future video!

I love this tutorial! Did you make the small ironing board that is used in this video?
Nope - I bought it from The Old Country Store in Intercourse, PA

I didn't send any invitations...so unsure where they came from.
