@@ezenwaperfect No man, I'm South African. So i speak out of experience. Overpopulation over here is JUST AS BAD (as is the case in most African countries). It will never get better because the rest of the World will keep on funding, supplying and feeding, so the People who are living in poverty will just keep on breeding without any attempts at getting an education, or concerns on how their children will be clothed, fed and educated. In fact, i think they deliberately have as many children as possible in order to obtain these free hand outs. It's quite selfish to bring an innocent child into this world only for them to suffer. Over population = less jobs, little to no education, great shotrage on food and a significant increase in crime (as seen here in South Africa). What do our corrupt governments do, other than stealing money from its people? Absolutely nothing! They hand out free condoms thinking that will resolve the issue. They don't care about their own People, "let the world feed our people while we continue to steal from them". Those people need to be educated, laws needs to be implemented and enforced. This,I worked with a man whose father had 34 kids "that he knew of" and thought it was hilarious. These men breed like roaches with a million different women and don't stop until they die. Once you have fathered a certain amount of kids you need to be sterilized. This man was 28 and his father was still having babies and he had a 2 year old sister + 9 half siblings on the mother's side

This is untrue. China had a one child policy for years before scientist debunked this methodology and they are actually going to be the smallest nation in 20 years time. So they are actually trying to counter the one child policy because their population will decrease exponentially if it continues.

I live in a fairly affluent neighborhood in L.A. I drive two minutes up the street and find trash filled makeshit slums with alcoholics and drug addicts lying about, some of it within eyesight of multi-million dollar homes. Trust me, it's not hard to find.

China's population growth is starting to go down......India should be the case study here. But Nigeria's total fertility rate is scary (5.3?) compared to India which is 2.1 as of 2021.

@@ezenwaperfect I am an American and have never been to Africa, anywhere in Africa, but what I do know HERE IN AMERICA is that population density stress is killing us NOW through ALL of our "diseases of civilization", none of which are found in traditional living, sparsely populated Hunter-Gatherer clans. So ALL of our diseases are caused by our modern lifeways, including the highly overactive stress responses ALWAYS found in crowded, urban populations of any mammal, including us humans. It is true that Nigeria does have the continent's biggest economy, and Lagos is projected to become the biggest metropolitan area in the world by 2100, with a population of around 88 million. However, as of 2022, Cairo is still Africa's largest metro.... for now....
in 2100, the world will be a third african, the death of actual diversity is coming if the non subsaharan africans don't protect their borders and therefore their ethnic groups.

Africa is actually very uninhabited and there is plenty of space. Only thing is we need better governments, food and infrastructure to accommodate for more people. Developed by ourselves and with minimal external influence & help. We should also stop taking any Aid as its been shown to not benefit us at all.

A very one sided typical Western news report. I'm from Zimbabwe and I've been to Lagos twice and absolutely loved it. So much vibrancy and energy, totally different to cities in my country.
