  • This video is about camera gear, or better about upgrading it. Because I don´t have a nice camera for my filming, I use my phone. I bought clip on lenses to enable me to do nice shots inside of my small workshop (wide angle) as well as close range shots of small projects (macro). For that I made two adapter rings from aluminium, to improve the lenses even more. Enjoy :)

I have never had the need or opportunity to turn metal for modification or alteration of camera accessories. However, I enjoyed watching you turn a problem into a somewhat over-engineered solution. Hand turning the knurled grips on the two adapter flanges as somewhat 'OCD'. But, having something correct, not just good enough, can be mistsken for OCD. In fact, seeing your patience in the hand-turned knurled adapters gives me a real idea how dedicated you are to your craftsmanship. Very good work! 👏

      Hahaha awesome, thank you!
I guess it´s somewhere in the middle between OCD and perfectionism. It´s definitely therapeutic to knurl in that way. And the result always looks good because of nice and sharp edges.
      Cheers my friend!

I would have probably used glue and rubber bands. Your method works too I guess;)
