This is the world’s largest collection of Orks! Owned and created by @geargutsmekshop. I wanted to battle against it with my entire Chaos Space Marine army. But doing an apocalypse battle of this size would require lots of help. So I enlisted some wargamers to set up the biggest game anyone has ever seen.
Things moved much quicker until I realized I was too old and out of shape to even stand. So I recruited @SkaredCast to lend a warrior’s hand to our outrageous game. He’s the best warhammer player in the world. He knows his army and my army better than I know it myself.
Stompas make stompy attacks. Titan Khârn chainaxes some orc armor. And mega ships were destroyed. The battle was going according to plan up till the dice gods demanded fresh meat from the street to pilot a warlord Titan and collect some mega skulls on the battlefield!!!! THIS is warhammer 40k apocalypse and this was the battle of the century!!!

Man, i remember being a kid and walking passed a game shop, and they had the coolest set up of this game. I didnt know what it was, the guy explained it to me and thought it was amazing. I was only a kid at the time and my parents said no, so it faded in the back of my head and could never remember what it was called. Glad to see that its a massive thing years later.
Yo same exact thing happened to me my dad said no way because of the price and the fact you have to paint them and thought I would grow tired of it in a week and never thought of it until recently when they have video games of it out

@ not even remotely the same. In apocalypse games you don’t even get to move a ton of the models before you put them back in the case. Entire sections of the table just evaporate in a hail of wounds.

You can easily save $37k buying a small resin printer and downloading the files elsewhere! :)
@@thefirebirdflock3440 only after you spent $1k-$3k on the printer alone, around $200 just to upgrade parts on it, $100 in resin ink thatll last about 5-6 figures after you calibrate the printer and run a few tests. then theres the dozens of $$ that it adds to every month of your electric bill. printing it yourself is about the same sunk cost, so unless youre going to build an army this big its a complete waste

@@tarkelson2457 wrong... printer is maybe $200 for an elegoo resin printer, even cheaper if you really want to save money. $25 bottle of resin, lasts a decent amount. Resin printing is pretty much plug and play. I never touched a printer before and was printing things instantly with barely any failures. You obviously don't know much about resin printing.
And if youre gonna complain, you forgot the paint and time to paint them. 😂😂

I do like how there seems to be more Orks vs Chaos battles, there doesn’t seem to be enough of those despite both factions being warmongering
In the game sistem the orks cost less than space marines so if you take it to the point of playing whit 1 million points the difference is going to be huge

Imagine spending at least a million on a bunch of plastic and another million on paint and glue :o
It would actually be pretty cool to break the army up into battalions essentially and have them take multiple smaller turns for something that large. You could also have different players as each "Battalion Captain" and let them each control one or two of them. It would allow for the massive numbers while each captain focuses on their units synergy and prevents one person from getting overwhelmed.

This is a nice start. Back in 2005 we would run 250,000 point games on 15 x 15 ft tables. They have only gotten bigger. We have 6 different that cap higher than 400,000.

I got the chance to play in a 50 person apocalypse game back when they originally released the format. Each person brought about 200 points to the table or a large vehicle unit that had just been released for this format such as the newly released (at the time) Baneblade which we had 4 of in the game IIRC
Music almost sounded like a mix between "Duel of the Fates" and the "Avengers Theme"... would be lit. 🔥

its hard to judge just by looking but from what i know on what these figures cost a piece and just eyeballing how many there are id be shocked if its not in the hundreds of thousands i doubt millions but if it hit that i wouldnt be too surprised a more realistic guess for all this is like idk 200k? its hard to tell from just this video but some of the larger figures can cost over 1 hundred per piece on their own and there are thousands of figures here. its pretty hard to tell i could be over valuing it but its in the tens of thousands minimum and likely in the hundreds probably not millions thats probably a stretch but its not insignificant im not saying it would sell for that but if you where to buy it piece by piece retail thats likely what ure bill would be plus idk if there are any like rare figures here which could affect the price alot. either way though its a ton of money!

This seems like a fun time. Here's an idea, why not rent the figures in a workshop of sorts, and let people try playing Warhammer for the first time. I don't actually play the tabletop, so I don't know if something like this is already being done
