The build looks great! I recently installed Hydro-Turf on my boat and was wondering if I needed some sort of protectant (like chemical) to help with cleaning, etc. Thank you in advance!
I really like the look of this stuff… but am still on the fence between going this route… or diamondplate w/textured anti-skid and light tan/or gray paint on my build. Will this stuff hold up to crab pots, cast nets, coolers, camping gear, and such dragging across it all the time? Thanks for the video! It helped answer a lot of questions just now.
I don’t know what crab pots are, but the rest of them yes. And if it ever gets damaged, you just cut down the strip and pull out the damaged strip & replace it with the same size new piece. You don’t have to repair the entire deck.
I’m waiting on TBN light camo to come back in stock! ETA would be helpful as I need 4/5 sheets for my 17ft bass tracker. Also need to know how to apply it to my wood deck???
Can i do this on wood? Doing the interior of my first build now... wildly frustrated but I'm making progress.... kinda. Thing is, i busted my tail on the trailer and exterior of the boat 100% overhaul, it turned out pretty nice. So now I'm trying like a dog chasing its tail on this vhull building a deck, rod lockers, livewell, tackle storage bla bla bla... as I'm doing this I'm debating the hydro turf over carpet... but i built the decking out of wood and even some of the framing. Again, i have actually no clue what the hell in doing but I'm determined to see it through... but now I've seen that this stuff won't stick to wood very well? So what gives? Also... you mentioned that the Amazon stuff is junk? I have some in my cart right now because it looks AWESOME and would match my color scheme ... it's expensive and don't want to just throw $500 out the window. I realize this is a lot (sorry about that) but any advice would be a enormous help right now. I feel like I'm consumed by this thing right now. Thank you.
on the brushed camo sheets that i have seen is it wise to lay the sheet with grain sideways (vertical)? i can avoid having to cut a 40x80 if i lay grain vertical but horizontal it will need to have multiple sheets if that makes sense?
Agree with you that the material has a lot to do with it. There are highs and lows of EVA material. Higher hardness materials can resist hotter climates.
Loving that tbn turf both the dark and the light look great
I agree
Love that positive flotation!

Right on man! You guys do an awesome job! 👊
How does it clean up? Can you pressure wash it?
I would like a camo, in the blue , grey and black combinations. I know they make it in clothing. Haven't seen it yet in the foam.

at 7:38 , no issues with laying foam over that seat pedestal?
No, it just naturally forms the more you step on it
What type of adhesive are you guys using?

They are backed up by a few months. Hopefully soon.
What about the dimondshape Eva foam? Is that good at all or no?

Yes you can. We have videos about it.
@@TinyBoatNation awesome, I'll look that up
How does this hold up in cold weather? My boat is stored outside but covered in the winter. Minnesota winters can get pretty cold.
It does really well. I use three or three protectant on it to preserve it
About to start the Eva decking on my boat.
Good to hear!

It looks really odd sideways, but you can do whatever you’d like. It’s your boat.

Does anyone know how this foam holds up in extreme cold weather in the midwest?
All day! There’s tons of people with EVA foam in the Midwest
Are you doing a giveaway with this boat?
Yes, but it’s going to be a targeted giveaway to a group of kids. I’ve already chose.
Oh ok. I would love a shot at winning but it’s also nice to help out the younger generation.
❤❤❤ than you
Did I miss the budget build giveaway
No, I haven’t announced it yet.
