I use the Zip Lock method and it works pretty well! Never did a full playfield swap. That's a little daunting to me :( Nice work!

Nice job on the video. In addition to the pictures from multiple angles, I like to take videos of the top and bottom sides of the playfield. I'll even make comments to my future self for things to watch out for or how something was assembled.

Ive got one of these in my shops and Ive got an issue with a ball thats wedged near the top right corner…. How did you open the panel haha

I understand the idea but every connector is an additional failure point.
My fist thing is normally: check if all is working, repair it and then disassemble. Otherwise you don't know what you put al back if it's an incorrect assembly or it was already defective.
oh I make sure it works too. I failed to mention that in this video. I have in previous adventures though.
FYI They make a 2 gallon ZIp lock bag. Great for the larger parts.

Great video. I remember doing this when I had older pins. It was a lot of fun and rewarding.

Also, I'd like to see how you lay those harnesses in the washer.
just lay it on the top rack with nothing dangling. Then spray it all down with degreaser. Then just a normal wash without detergent.
