The lengths some people will go to get into the expo for free. Seriously you are doing a great job with this restoration. I hope you make it in time. It looks like you got your vibrating cleaner and medium down for the components. Good luck!
This isn't to "get into expo for free". There is a competition for restorations at Texas Pinball Festival. I have plenty of games to bring to "get in free".

Killer job Cary… your restoration videos are by far my favorite content that you put out. Question… looks like you just reuse the old coils and replace the wrappers and sleeves, or do you replace the coils as well? Also, as for the mirrored finishes on your coil brackets and slingshot kickers, did you end up giving up on media tumbler and just high speed buffed instead?
I reuse the coils. If they aren't broke - why replace them? Now with the connectors I have installed for them - IF they go bad they will be easy to replace. Media tumbler and buffer wheel is a good combo. Tumbler is nice though.

Hi Cary, looks like you're having fun with that pf swap. Where did you buy the playfield from? What are you using for cleaning solution in the ultrasonic cleaner? Did you put the coils in the cleaner?
Playfield from CPR
Typical degreasers or multi purpose cleaners diluted with water will work (we use simple green at work)
DO NOT PUT COILS IN THE ULTRASONIC!

great work ! at 13"50, you talked about a spring, do you have a reference ? because it's not in the manual and I think it could improve the mech because I had a couple of issues with "top ball popper" and "bottom ball popper"
what brand is the GI bare wire?
use picture frame wire from hobby lobby. no particular brand. Just make sure it's conductive.
