Very helpful. Thanks for making this video, it's the only one that showed how to get the aerator out of this type of faucet to clean it. Simple once you're shown how!
Worked for me. I subscribed, although I feel in these type of videos a tip button would be more helpful since these videos save people hundreds of dollars in repair costs. Thank you Thomas.
Many thanks for going beyond the superficial solutions that other videos have. Your video was clear and concise and solved the problem beautifully! Well done you!
Best video on Utube for Delta faucet fixes. Many thanks! This was so great. 2:49 - that blue part pops off (careful) with a small blade. This is the flow restrictor. Remove this blue screen and put the aerator back and flow improves on CA faucets. I have the Delta A112.18 faucet head, similar but not the same. My aerator unscrews without disassembly of faucet. Unscrew this aerator from face of faucet head using a coin or flat screwdriver. Soak in vinegar, brush clean of debris and reinstall with or without the blue screen. This improves flow.
THANK YOU!!! I was beginning to think that Delta had manufactured an un-serviceable sprayer, so that you'd have to cough-up $98 every time it got clogged up!
Man I got pipe dope into my aerator and thought I would have to replace the faucet head, which would have cost me $90. So glad I came across your video, was able to clean out the aerator and now it's back to normal. Thank you so much.
I just found it. There is a special notched key that Delta provides to remove the aerator from the bottom of the assembly. I'll have to find that. I hope this helps someone.
Well done and good timing!. Today, I just took off the faucet sprayer assembly head on this same Delta faucet in your video. I was planning to clean the aerator screen and I couldn't figure out how to disassemble the sprayer head to get to the aerator screen. I did not consider removing the actuator button first. Anyway, you solved the mystery. Thanks!
Thank you very much for the video as you saved me a lot of time. And it was worth taking apart to clean out the aerator and spray holes. And thank you for keeping it short and to the point.
Very nice. I had a problem with the yellow push valve itself (in the video, it the yellow plastic ). You can remove it by removing the valve retaining lock clip which just pulls off. Then you can with slight force pull out the valve assembly and when I did there was a worn circular rubber washers (I think there are 3 total). It had broken and pulled out of position so I could no longer push on the valve to get the faucet to switch between the shower spray and the regular "mode". The out of place broken rubber washer was jamming it so it wouldn't move all the way.
I see many requests fro finding the part number or replacement aerators. I looked on the Delta site and there are no exploded diagrams of the head. I do wonder if another aerator could be purchased (the style that screws onto the exterior of a faucet) and the "guts" of the aerator exchanged. In my opinion all of the pull-down faucets on the market offer dismal flow rates (typically 1.8 gpm). On my builder-basic single handle Detlta faucet ("Foundations" series) I get 3.4 gpm with a full-flow aerator. It makes filling pots and the sink far less time consuming. If anyone has tried pulling the guts out of another aerator (perhaps another Delta/Masco/Master Plumber branded part) to replace the one in a Delta spray head I would love to hear about it.
Hi, can someone link me where I can buy the Aerator ? All the Aerators I see on Amazon have a thread and this Delta fauce does not have threads. Anyone know the specific size of the aerator ?
I find that the button to activate the spray nozzle can be difficult to press if it hasn't been pressed for a few hours. Have you experienced a similar issue?
On a new Delta Paucet that had no pressure, I took the head off and held it upside down in the sink, then sprayed it out with the hose, which had strong pressure. A lot of black plastic very small pieces came out in the sink. I pue the head back on and oit worked great.
Thank you so much! The bezel is bit the same on my model (Addison) It appears to be sealed, but u'd love to disassemble it, if possible. I want to stop it from hissing, which is a sure sign of mineral build up.

I agree with the other positive comments about this video. Thank you for solving this problem for me.
This completely solved our low water pressure issue in the kitchen and now have a happy wife! Thank you!

OUTSTANDING!
I couldn't find this info within any other videos, anywhere. Thank you Thomas, very well done sir!
Thank you for this video. Saved us from buying new faucet and lots of money. Only RUclips video showing our faucet. Great instructions. TY.

Thanks again, this is the second time I have used this video to clean my faucet.

Yes, this worked for my faucet. I couldn't find these instructions anywhere else. Thanks!
Excellent video. Informative and to the point.
Thanks Thomas, your video was very well done. You saved me a lot of time and frustration in cleaning the aerator.

This was excellent, and so straightforward. Thank you so much!
Excellent video. Was wondering how to disassemble the head. Saved me from hacking it up. Thank you
Just wanted to like and comment. This was a perfect video for this faucet. Thanks
Precisely what I had wanted (and needed) to observe. Big thanks.
I have looked all over for how to disassemble this damn thing. Thank you!!!
Excellent video! That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
saved my butt. And I have two of these faucets both fed by wells. Thank you.
Thanks! You saved the day over here.
This was amazingly useful. Thanks a lot for your contribution, really!
Thank you! Saved me a headache!
Thank you sir! Your video is very helpful.
Worked for me. I subscribed. Thank you.
I have a similar model 9159-DST and the same applies to disassemble the sprayer in order to service.
Thank you so much. Absolute life saver
Fantastic video, thank you!
Very helpful - thanks!
Very helpful! Thank you.
Now this video helped me take out alot of dirt....not the Delta videos
Thank you for the video

Perfect. Thank you
Has anybody found the replacement for the aerator? I can't finde the replacement anywhere!!! Thanks@ Excellent video!
Thanks man you saved me $60
Very Helpful!
Excellent!
excellent
And I subscribed too !!
To lube the O-rings use a waterproof silicone grease made for faucets like "Danco Perfect Match: Silicone Grease". Other types will wash away.

I want to replace the aerator 1.8 to 2.2 and I can’t find the replacement part
So how can you increase the flow more than flow restricter 1.5gpm?
Hi, can someone link me where I can buy the Aerator ? All the Aerators I see on Amazon have a thread and this Delta fauce does not have threads. Anyone know the specific size of the aerator ?
Is ther a flow restrictor separate fom the blue screen? I wanttoincreasewater flow.
My dude.
Very helpful video. Does anyone know where to purchase replacement aerators? These are an odd size. 15mm w x 13.5mm depth.
I was just looking at that, and that online store that starts with an "A" sells those. I haven't tried it, but search for this: B0811JYG3N
I find that the button to activate the spray nozzle can be difficult to press if it hasn't been pressed for a few hours. Have you experienced a similar issue?
Yes. This is why I tried to lubricate it!
Is it possible to pop the bezel and then unscrew the aerator end instead of complete disassembly?
Not really. You will likely damage the clips or the plating. Beside, it only takes 1 minute to take it appart...

where can I buy the aerator? seems the aerator is now removable, but I am not able to locate the replacement part; particular that size
I don't know, I guess you can just clean it instead of replacing it...
@@atcaron how do you clean the small holes on the outside ring? Can that area be replaced too?
Thank you so much! The bezel is bit the same on my model (Addison) It appears to be sealed, but u'd love to disassemble it, if possible. I want to stop it from hissing, which is a sure sign of mineral build up.
