Fantastic series so far. How many videos will be in the total type rating?

Glad you like it! To be honest we don't know how many videos exactly. We're just recording them as we go along, and there are some limitations to the sim and what it can handle. We will also be looking at more normal operations at some point.

Levelling off at LRC ceiling, u should’ve stopped ECAM, set A/THR ON and managed speed. Only then u could go ahead with the rest of procedure. Because I didn’t do this, see where has ur speed gone.

Very nice description, but... Could you please correct the fact that there are 3 Strategies? Standard, Obstacle, and Fixed Speed/ETOPS Strategy! Yes, the A320 Family has versions for ETOPS certified Operation, so it is important to mention that some operators opt for the 3rd strategy. The speeds used are usually higher than the Fixed Speed Strategy, but defined by the operations department of each carrier.

You're absolutely correct! In this video we look mainly at the two procedures of standard and obstacle as these are the ones we are likely to encounter, as most A320 flights don't do ETOPS. But great spot, appriciate the comment and thanks for watching! :)
