ok so pansexual means bie? all the bie people i know were woman & all ended up settling down with men . they were mainly all with men & woman in are teens an early 20s but i just chalked it up to them still finding them selfs kus we were still young & all ended up with men in the end . it felt like a craze LOL kus so many girls i knew during does years were identifing as bie till we got to are mid to late 20s & all started having kids, which could be part of the reason for the change

I relate to this a lot especially when you say “I’m so fluid.” My first relationship ever was with a transguy and because of that relationship I thought it would make sense to identify as pansexual. Since then, I’ve only been with cismenc but you’re so right that track record shouldn’t matter! I would think ..wait should I just consider myself to be straight now? But honestly now I just think it doesn’t matter and I choose not to pin down a label because at the end of the day it’s more about the connection for me rather than someone’s gender.
Trans guy here. We are guys so being with us doesn’t make you pansexual anymore than being with cis guys would make you pansexual, if that makes sense. You’re pansexual if you’re pansexual. You wouldn’t be pansexual *just for* dating trans guys because we are guys just like cis guys.
I'm so happy you talked about this! It's so cool to see other people being so open and honest about being pansexual. I have only come out to a handful of people and it's not something I really talk about. But I think you made a really good point, that people's sexual orientation should not be based on track record. I think that is something we see from time to time to discredit someone's identity. Again, thanks for being so honest and I love your videos!!!

I always thought I was pan until I discovered demi. It was a shock to know that I wasn't "weird" for not having celebrity crushes etc. Such validate, many accept.

straight is just that, straight, the natural normal way to go..like men fits in women, everything else is twisted..

This was so relatable, the "feeling disingenuous" when referred to as straight was one of my first internal signals of my fluid sexuality! It got the ball rolling and made me examine WHY. Thanks for sharing.
Such a good talk! I’ve dealt with very similar issues coming out at queer, my mom was not a saint, after I told her she threw away her own wedding dress and photos of me when I was a baby/kid. When I told My dad, he was just like, “so?”. He has since passed and my mom is still here, barely a ghost of a parent . But despite that, learning to live authentically has helped with my happiness and self love

i’m bi and still in the closet about it. i have a pretty similar situation as you where im pretty fem and it was always assumed i was straight because i have had boyfriends, etc. ive always known too but didn’t want to be seen as different or “other” and like you said, didn’t want to even give people the opportunity to remark on it so i shoved it down and repressed those feelings. i’ve heard my dad say things like being bi is not as “natural” as the media likes to push and insinuate that they just cant make up their minds. they totally accept LGBTQ people and say “to each their own” but i dont want my family to just tolerate me or love me DESPITE my sexuality if that makes sense. i know that my family wouldn’t disown me or shun me like some would but i still just dont feel comfortable being totally honest with them
and that sucks :/

Listening to you talk about owning your sexuality really helps me. I feel the sense of “I’m not suppose to” about my sexuality. Esp. because my family is dismissive of sexuality outside of the hetero mindset.
Its very hard to explain fluid sexuality, but I think you did a great job. Also, anyone trying to challenge your own sexuality can f*** off. 💗
I still find it strange that people feel the need to explain their sexuality, and that others care about that element. I find it to be as relevant as your preference to curtains vs shades, or green tea vs earl gray. It tells me nothing about the person, it is not a personality tribute. People should care about substance and quality of humans not who they want in their bed, which p.s.. it is nobody's business anyway. You can be gay and an asshole, I care about the asshole part...

For anyone who is worried or feel pressured to come out to your parents or family, just know that you don't owe them anything in that regard. It's not up to them who you are attracted to, they shouldn't even care. Like she said, don't give them an opportunity to give their opinion, when you already know what you are. Don't plan on coming out unless you truly feel the need, just be who you are and if someone wants to ask about it for any reason, that gives you the control and power to tell them who you are or what you would like to share.

It was really interesting to hear your perspective! Personally I think people need to give up the labels and just be who they are. Then noone would feel pressure or shame about coming out. It's really noones business. For example, my husband doesn't need to know I'm bi because it isn't relevant to our relationship. Although that having been said how you explained coming out as pansexual is how I felt "coming out" as atheist... no one died, I'm still me, I'm not a bad person etc. So what to I know, lol.

Lol thank you! I’m not in the closet haha I just made a whole video on this for the world to see! I just don’t think I’ll ever sit down and “come out” to my family. I’m 26. Whoever I date, they don’t care and I don’t need their permission anyway! Their reaction would be all love and acceptance anyway so I’m not pressed about it
